@@Pharmaquatics just bought the north fin betta bits and the shrimp patties for my little koi. I’ve been feeding her mainly bug bites and the occasional freeze dried brine shrimp as a snack but after watching your other video I realized I needed a better variety to ensure she’s getting all the nutrients to stay healthy. If you don’t mind answering this .. do you know if Astaxanthin ingredient has color enhancing properties? My Koi is primarily red and white for context, I read it can bring out the redness in fish and shrimp.

Harry, you are awesome! I came across your video this morning and have spent my entire Labor Day binge watching most of your videos! You are so educational, practical and articulate. The information is well thought out and on point. You’re a natural. I hope you keep with this. I learned so much today. As a newbie to both bettas and marine fish, I would love videos from you on proper cycling, quarantining and how to medicate if needed. I hope you get into marine fish one day. I would love your take on it. Absolutely outstanding!

My first Betta, a colorful Koi Plakat, moved into my aquarium two days ago. 🙂He is a picky eater, but not as I expected. He really likes pellets, as long as they are big enough for him to see (for example Dennerle Betta Booster and Hikari Betta bio gold). He doesn't eat frozen red and black mosquito larvae. He also ignores white mosquito larvae and adult Artemia from StreamBiz (which are in a preservative solution). The fish in my other tank eat all the food, so it hasn't gone bad. Is it common for Bettas not to eat frozen food? 🤔My pet store is getting fresh live food in two days. I'm going to buy a pack of live red mosquito larvae and I'm curious to see if he will eat them. 😂

Sustainable harvesting means ....whatever they harvested (insects) to create the pellets, how they harvested the insects it does not harm the environment. They also may replace the insects or encourage growth of the insects so it does not affect the food chain of where ever they sourced it from.
