That dude from the church with the food was so cool, that’s the kind of interaction that only happens on wild trips like these. Obviously this kind of content is expensive but I would absolutely love to see more stuff from you guys that carries the same vibe as this!

Thank you for tagging me along in this amazing journey. I was hooked from the beginning and surprised you all made it home with the cars ! Great job, great video. You earned a new sub today! If it was me I would have went with the infinity. Solid car for $3,000 you got what you paid for in my opinion.
This was a fun watch! I love these cheap car challenges, and your group of friends all have great personalities to watch. Good job with on the road fixes too!
I watched a bunch of videos like this before buying what is now my daily. $1600 and a couple hundred miles later and I was sitting in my new car. 2006 CVPI with a K9 cage, lights, sirens, and a bag of trash that had been sitting in the front seat for 6 months. Battery died 1 block from the dept where I picked her up when I turned her off to put gas in it. Then 10 min later she overheated. That was in Pacific MO. I am currently sitting in her and have driven her out to CA, back to MO, took her to gulf shores and back to MO and am now sitting in Key Largo on vacation. I’ve spent about $4k getting her roadworthy including a new built transmission, every suspension part is now Moog, new fuel system, new brakes and rotors, axle bearings, cooling system, msg ignition, fuel system, seats, and so much more. I’d say it was worth it.
Just sold my '81 LUV truck. Bought a '94 Nissan hard body for $750. Loved the content. The laughs and adventure seemed very genuine and like something I would do, honestly. Great work
I drove a 1992 toyota pickup from Oregon to West virginia about a year ago. I bought my toyota for $2300 after my 1993 ford truck burnt down. I initally put $400 in parts into it before the trip. This toyota was screwed up but I made it worked and had the truck loaded with all that I owned. It was one hell of a trip with no problems and no hickups. The toyota now has 168,000 miles on it.
@@allwinauto Man you should of seen how bad it was when I bough that truck. When I got it the truck had three of the orginal shocks one shock was missing and the orginal radiator was caved in o also no lights worked at all. I had to put in a good amount of work into it. it says 168,000 but dam the truck looks like it had 300,000 though the frame has little to no rust.
I did the same trip except further over a dozen times in the last 20 years in my 1981 vw rabbit pickup tdi swap. Lived out of and commuted In that truck It took me every corner of the country. Oh and it gets 75mpg😊
Just recently learned that LUV stands for Light Utility Vehicle. The Isuzu version PUP Personal Utility Pick-up. Sorry I know useless information I'm loaded with it lol
Reminds me of Road trips in my 1990 Chevy S10 Extended Cab 5 speed manual from Michigan to Tennessee from Tennessee to Massachusetts back to Tennessee back to Michigan back to Tennessee Georgia and back to Michigan lol a lot of road trips camper shell with a sleeping area in the back
In 2023 February I flew from Wisconsin to Portland Oregon to buy rust free cars as my bachelor trip before my wedding 3 weeks later. Bought a 1987 Toyota mini truck that had a wrist pin knock or something. Did timing chains and such but still made noise. It drove 2400 miles home and did 3-4 months of driving for me. Sold it still clattering away to a kid 4 hours north of me. It’s going to get rebuilt and used! So happy to have owned it but I have a sweet 4runner with a healthy 22re for my classic rig
insane to me how good this video is and how fun it was to watch. First video i've seen from you guys but from this I can assume I've found another criminally underrated car channel. Subbed!
I will say these are the videos that I truly love watching. Road adventures. With mechanics that are fixing on the cars as well. And having footage of things that are along the way. Donut media made a video one time when they want to take their Nissans down to Texas I think. And this is by far the second best video that I've watched I love it. Keep showing content guys 🎉👍🏾
Coming from someone who was born and raised in Ohio but also spent summers in the Carolina’s, this video took me back to where it all started for me. So I say thank you for it. This was an awesome video, I hope y’all do another. Maybe a cross country trip, Nevada perhaps? I’m kidding of course, as that would take a bunch of time to not only prep and plan out, but also execute. But it would be a fun trip to be apart of. Take care y’all, and I look forward to a new video soon.
Sweet video overall, although I must admit I was a bit disappointed that you guys didn’t give the ole E30 BMW any coverage, would’ve liked to see & hear about that purchase & how’d it do during the entire trip. All in all, good stuff, keep filming. ✊🏽
Too reliable I guess, the rest of the guys bought POS's that have problems which provide "content." The BMW had no issues and prob could've made that trip 10x before something remotely going wrong
this is awesome i live in ohio and have always wanted to do this my friends and I have talked about it alot and i think this might just make us haha glad i found the channel !!
