I JUST LOVE LOOKING AT THESE OLD QUILTS. So often I wonder about the durability of my quilts and these series really helps

Thank you! They are great, aren't they? They just make me happy. Much to my surprise, quilts are much more durable than we give them credit for. :)

I'm really glad that Dave's Craft Room pointed me in your direction. I now have some binging to do.

This is a groovy coverlet. I remember the 60s well. For me they were the best of times, they were the worst of times. They were turbulent times and this coverlet almost demonstrates those times with its riot of colours and pure madness to it. I like it. Thanks for this one Kris.

Yes! I think so, too. It is a really neat coverlet that represents the time period well, I think.

I can see why you bought it, the blocks and fabrics are fabby. I would be very tempted to unpick the blocks and join them together without border fabric ( especially blue) I have realised I just don't like blue for background with scrappy fabric blocks😯! I am thinking it's because I don't see it in the flesh. It is obviously beautiful sewing work and I couldn't accomplish something like that. Thank you for explaining how the blocks were put together and sharing this groovy, far out topper. Love these videos!

I love this one. It reminds me to let loose and enjoy the art of piecing. So happy you liked it, too! The turquoise is much more vibrant in person. I just love it!

Lovely quilt/coverlet! The maker was making some big statements when they made this.
