I've got news for you...they copied their sound from a lot of the new wave and new romantic bands of the 80s. There is nothing new or original about Neon Indian's sound. In fact a lot of his tunes sound a lot like the songs I listened to in the 80s. I am actually quite surprised there are no complaints of copyright infringement.
@@jfhc4676 Inspiration isn't copying, and maybe he hasn't gotten any copyright because he doesn't.. copy...? He does sample, but which artist doesnt these days? Neon Indian is his own thing. I have literally never heard any other song /artist that sounds like Neon Indian.
Worst recording of this song by far. I've noticed television always makes the vocals too loud and the effects too dry. I wish the production team would have let Neon Indian mix their own sound, because obviously artists know better than house sound-techs.
