Thanks for this video, was helpfull! Dont know if this was mentioned, but the access to the two 8mm screws is much easier trough the fuse box (under steering wheel) and glovebox.
thanks so much, helped me and mate sort out his civic, just needed to buy a wiring adapter (honda to iso or something) and an aerial adapter :) thanks again!
Shahab - I bought my dash kit from CRUTCHFIELD and try searching on forums as to replacing rear speaker. I have never done this personally but if memory serves me right, just pop out the speaker grill and it shod be a direct replacement as long as you buy the right size speaker. Good luck....
@Fresz1990 I'm not sure where you’re buying everything but I got my radio from crutchfield and it came with everything needed for a proper install. Hopefully that helps. good luck
Thank you mate you're my hero :D i love my car and i prefer doing myself and do it well instead paying to make this all wrong... yeah cause mecanics generally don't go check out youtube for ''how to's'' xD
Spike- no raffle here. Maybe your zip tie is not as tight as it can be. Make sure to get it as tight as possible. That's the only thing that I can think of that might be causing this rattle.
Slicktype001 is missing the important step of loosening a screw on either side of the base of the metal frame or cage that the head unit is bolted to. You can see the one of the screws I'm talking about if you pause the video at 3:33. It's the bolt closest to the shifter. However I assume that the previous owner didn't put it together properly in the first place hence Slicktype001 didn't know it was an important step. I've have to take my dashboard apart to fix other random issues
The 8 mm wrench that Slicktype001 mentions at 1:28 didn't work for me. I would recommend an off setting screw driver like www.amazon.com/Docooler%C2%AE-ProsKit-1PK-202A-Offset-Ratchet/dp/B00W6VY2NM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453161657&sr=8-1&keywords=ASIN+B00W6VY2NM The screw he mentions on 1:32 is an 8 mm bolt but it also will take a Phillips head screw driver bit, and the above mentioned tool would have been a great help for me. There's just not much room for some other type of wrench. And don't try unloosening the nuts that these screws are screwed into. On my stock 2005 EP3, they are welded onto the radio's frame. But thanks for the video. It was a great help.
slicktype001 I brought the harness adapter and plugged it but it won't turn on, the radio is a JVC a have been days on this I brought a multimeter and I'm a noob just fund the yellow cable gives me around 6v key off and on number two gives me 12v. it should be just plug in and not messing with cables don't know what's wrong

Nice video slicktype, this is helpful as i want to install a double din, and a S2k start button where the hazzard switch is
You just saved me a lot of money. Thanks dude.

Coolguydanny- should you still be interested on an EP3 I'll be selling mine come spring.
My civic connector (blue head) has lots of green/x wires and dont know which corresponds to the ISO adapter
Sorry i have a question wich color is for the memory , means keep the memory for the radio or cd whenu turn off the car and then start again. Thanks
@slicktype001 - is this the same as the EP2?

I secured it with zip ties.
4:32 was it really :o
Yes, I know I said that I don't remember, but that was definitely the locations.
+slicktype001 was referring to the tool reference in your wording ha. nothing wrong with your video or accuracy of where a factory part was
I need help with the wiring :(
What's the issue? Post a detailed explanation and I'll see if I can be of help.
