I have 10 books on my physical tbr and I'm lready stressing out. Helpful tips. I do the goodreads unhauls about 2 or 3 times a year too

I have around 20 books in my TBR, and I am on a book ban, I can never buy anything unless I finish them all. Reading is fun, if I just stress myself over oh I have 3000 books I need to read them all. books are for knowledge and fun, so there's no need to just collect them and say oh I have to many and I can't read any.

I unhauled 44 and I still have exactly 44 unread physical books 😅 good for you but I need options. I'll read fantasy and then I'll want a classic but then I want to go back to fantasy WHILE I start a contemporary book and I am slowly making my way through poetry. It's just impossible for me to have a small tbr 😂. I decided though to never go above 50 books in my tbr-self on goodreads. If I exceed the number I have to remove something and up until now it's working

ah that's fair! i know a small tbr isn't for everyone, i can totally relate to wanting options :D I personally find that I buy the books I'm mega excited for in the moment, then they're with me within a few days and I can read them asap, it helps my impatient streak haha. Also then I don't have to feel any self-imposed guilt cos I very rarely put books on the back burners.
Ah yeah isn't it great having a small Goodreads tbr? :D I try to stay below 50 too, and below 100 at the very least.

@@capricioushelen totally agree, the guilt is a struggle. Most ended up in my hands because they were on a huge sale at some point and I thought since I do want to read it someday why not buy it now and save money? True I own some for more than 3 years but hope never dies! 😅 btw the lipstick really suits you, it makes your eyes pop. I always forget to mention it in my comments 😺
