It's a very hard reality faced by many. Govt. Supplied water can vary in different areas. People who live in society usually get ground/boar water after filtration but via water tanks. WHO says water below 500 TDS doesn't need RO but still there's no standard whether to use RO or not.
As for me, l started living in a society and getting 260 TDS value water supplied at home which is first boared + filtered + stored in water tanks and then supplied. According to the TDS math I should go with UF + UV purifier. But the above conversation is really confusing to me.

Bhai sahab, aap pe trust kar k mai ye company se service le li.... and ye insan badi badi baat kar raha hai ki bahot kuchh inko water putifier k bareme pata hai.. but i think wo sab shirf inko hi pata hai, inke team/technician ko bilkul kuchh nahi pata...
service k name pe ye log ne sara filter change krne ko bol diya, and uske baad ye log TDS 13 set kar k chala gaya,,, jo ki 50-150 k bich me honi chahiyea thi. Request raise karte hi aa gaye service karne... but same day after 1 hour Maine complaint raise kiya, 20 days ho gaye hai aaj tak koi nahi aaya....
aaj maine tweet and consumer form fill kiya hai... dekhte hai uske waja se v aate hai yah mujhe kisi aur ko bulana padega...
Please bhai aise founder ko mat laooo.... jo ki bolte kuchh hai and karte kuchh aur hai...

There has been reported cases of health issues on usage of RO. NGT is actively seeking legislation to ban usage of RO type of water filters. Hence seeking advise on the best brand model having UV ,UF/NF type since the TDS level at my beach apt is less than 400TDS. There is hardly any model for such kind of UV, UF filters which can be used for Borewell . Will appreciate your kind advice on this matter ❤

You only need uv based water purifier. There is no wastage of water in uv water purifier and its cost effective too. No RO needed.

Water filtration system and RO system basically two systems hai jo water filtration me use hote h. RO water kisi bhi angle se body ke liye usefull nahi hai. Chahe company koi bhi technology kah kar marketing kare. RO slow poison hai body ke liye. Simple water filter jisme bacterial filter, odour filter and UV filter ho wo use kariye, mitti ka ghada(pot) use kariye jo minerals balance karta hai.. without minerals paani peena hi poison hai. Koi bhi developed countries me RO water purifier use nahi hota. Ye siyapa India me bahut h..

by seeing this video it is understood there is no rule of govt authorities getting controlled of all this units which is consumed neither the products which is coming in the market, every thing which has to be consumed it has to have an approval of govt why keep trust in manufacturer, what the govt machinery is doing when its allows so many manufacturers in the market, why atleast govt guide lines to be followed by companys is not compulsory , in the form of leaflet with alll the product which its floats
