Hmm, you might be right but also wrong. If Olympic rescued in time all of Titanic passengers, there is a big chance that lifeboat matter would be dropped and it still could be treated as a mean to ferry passengers from one vessel to another, not to escape. Both Lusitania and Empress sank very rapidly and intense so lifeboat quantity wasn’t the prelimimary subject, furthermore these tragedies occured in very insecure times. So there is a chance, that only another tragedy, with similar to the Titanic loss of life and in time of piece, could change regulations thereupon.

this was considered, as Titanic was believed by many to be able to remain afloat for hours. however, sailing on the sister ship of the one that just sank from beneath them was deemed too much of an emotional trauma. it was feared Titanic passengers would not even want to go aboard

The Frankfurt, Mount Temple, Baltic, Birma, Mesaba, and Virginian were too far away to get there before the Carpathia could do all of the work, but like the Olympic, they all tried to dash to the Titanic’s rescue
The reason Titanic's lights turned red is because they were dimming more and more as the ship sank. So by the time the bridge began to flood,her lights dimmed. Hope this helps!

The Baltic actually did try to dash to Titanic’s too, but the Lusitania was somewhere several thousand miles away so she wouldn’t have even been able to hear Titanic’s distress call.

The reason Titanic's lights turned red is because they were dimming more and more as the ship sank. So by the time the bridge began to flood,her lights dimmed. Hope this helps!

She wasn’t a day away from reaching her. She was about 505 miles away when she picked up her sister’s distress call and about 110 miles away when she got turned down by the Carpathia.

The Olympic was too far away to rescue Titanic and J Bruce Ismay didn't want an identical ship rescuing Titanic because it would ruin the White Star Line's image. The SS Calfornian was much closer to Titanic then Olympic but failed to rescue Titanic

He wasn’t afraid of it ruining the White Star Line’s image, he was just worried that it would give the Titanic’s survivors greater anxiety. Just imagine boarding a ship near-identical to the one you just nearly died on.
