Alexis so happy your sharing your lovely hotels and foods with us again. What I love so much about your videos is that you don’t play music and instead allow us to hear the sounds of the people, the streets, the restaurants, shops simply as they are. I feel like I’m right there experiencing the ambiance!! 🌺😍
@Island Breeze @Sportive&Riche I don't play music in my videos but I love/listen to music all the times. Lately I love this song so much Temple Journey Part 2 by Medwyn Goodall - want to decompress some more after watching my videos? try it you might like it! 🙂💐
@@alexisluxurytravels1 Wow, what a beautiful and relaxing song! I also always have music playing, life is just better with some piano jazz or high frequency sounds in the background! 🎶😌✨
Hahahahaha I died with inward laughter when Alexis was like ...I will be that girl and gracefully grabbed those biscuits! Yes girl you did that and those biscuits looked scrumptious too😀
Hurray another Alexis Travels vlog! During a future trip to Paris, I'll visit Maison Poilâne, Ladurée and Maison Le Roux (also dark chocolate). Those Florentine cookies would be so delicious with tea or French coffee! We loved exploring the Left Bank. Have you gone to Hemingway's old haunt, Les Deux Magots Cafe in Saint Germain du Prés? It was fun watching passersby as we sat outside and drank our kir royals. Have you seen fashion photo shoots on your walks around Paris? Years ago, it seemed to be a common occurrence as we explored the right and left banks. How breathtaking it must have been to see the wrapped L' Arc de Triomphe, homage to the late Christo and Jeanne-Claude...only pedestrians and absolutely no car traffic around the monument. Unbelievable!! Thank you for sharing your amazing trip with us!
I've been to Les Deux Magots (See the video "All In Good Time. Paris the Year before the pandemic" April 2019) Great food, would love to go back. It's a good thing there weren't any fashion shoots during my walks, it'd be crawling with people...too crowded to film haha! I love the Left Bank! And yes for dark chocolates! Glad you enjoyed the video CA Garden :)
Hi Alexis, I truly enjoy your vlogs seeing all the amazing place in Paris I am so happy that God gave you favor you are a loving person and it always good to see you. Enjoy your day.
Alexis, I love your videos!! You have the most fabulous travels!! I love that you show the beautiful hotels, rooms and food that wherever you go! I am inspired by you to try travel videos as a hobby when I retire in a few years. Thank you for sharing your adventures! 👣
A highly enjoyable video as well. In case you didn't see it already, Air France had a wonderful documentary on the bridges of Paris available to watch a few months ago, and I liked it so much I watched it flying both ways across the Atlantic! The stroll you included along the Seine gets me even more excited (read, impatient - lol) to visit my girlfriend again in December. Can't wait to go back.
Leaving Paris for Italy. The life of luxury for sure. I’m not a big fan of chocolate ~ can we still be friends?? But the dinosaur baguette I could have consumed whole! The Arc de Triomphe has its own beauty. I’m happy to see the art brought to life by Christo and I’ll be happy to see it relieved of the wrapping. I was also happy to see a second glass of wine in the final pics. Wink.
So we won't share chocolate...but I'm still your friend! Was in awe of the project but happy that Arc de Triomphe is set free - we're on the same page here :) Will tell my friend you like his wine glass being part of the pic haha!
Hey my beauty. Such a lovely video as always, adore Paris and that food is always outstanding. Especially the dinosaur bread Spread with salted butter and Best quality apricot conserve!!! All my love Paula in uk xx
Hey beautiful Paula! That sounds like a slice of baguette that moves you...though I'd have it with unsalted butter but still love apricot jam. Love from us xx Alexis
Thank you Charlie, sweet as always 😊 Yes you almost did. But I've been so busy lately, too. Yesterday I forgot to have lunch...got so hungry at 3pm...still thinking oh the next meal would be dinner. Imagine me forgetting to eat haha. It's been a crazy roller coaster week hopefully things will improve by weekend. I'm actually traveling right now but won't film anything because there's nothing to write home about. Talk to you later :)
Thank you Alberto 😊 Yes, those two slices on my plate came from that delicious hunk of a baguette. Where I was about to stay in Italy also had such incredible bread - both hotels - actually. Take care!
Stunning video as always! Thank you! ⚘ The only thing I don't like about it, is seeing how they "box cut" the park trees. I wish they would let them grow in a natural shape.🍂🍁
You bet! Happy you like it 💐. I love big soaring trees too so I see your point - but the box cut compliments the ornate bridge. Reminds me of Versailles. 💚🍁
That chicken curry is something I would to try, where I live there are no Indian restaurants but I did learn how to make a nice korma. Chocolat is so healthy full of antioxidants, vitamin D etc.. must be in every daily diet!!!
I just love your videos Alexis! Your opening photos of the bread were even more welcome than normal. I’m currently in Florence, Italy. They are famous in this area for “bad” bread. I guess no place is 100% perfect all of the time. 🥰.
"Bad" bread haha so funny JanKnits! 💚 Hopefully it's just a phase? TH-cam tried, but we still don't have everything here...especially the kissing face I love...will you settle with a spring heart? Let me know by the time you leave Florence if you'll have found any good bread, yes? 🙂
Alexis, I’ve been binging on your beautiful videos. I’m amazed at your steady hand and how well you record your videos, you don’t even have a tripod and yet it seems like you do. I was wondering if you know the Carnavalet, the museum about the whole 2,000+ years of Paris’ history is now opened after 4 years of renovation? Have you been ?
Hi, Congratulations on the success of your videos. I would like to make a suggestion because I do not know if you have been in Madrid but I would love you to make a video related to your visit to Madrid. I do not know if you have ever been to Spain....thanks
Great suggestion. I've been to Barcelona -- see my video "Barcelona Hotel Arts..." in 2016. If work finds me in Spain again I'd love to visit Madrid. Welcome to my channel!
@@alexisluxurytravels1 I don’t travel nearly as much as you do so I wouldn’t know off hand. But if I were in Paris, I’d just ask the locals for a bistro recommendation where they do it with a nice small but thick cut and serve it with mustard. Same goes for the salad, which is made with frisée lettuce and a walnut oil. I’m sure the concierge would know such a place.
Another beautiful video Alexis, thank you very much, hopefully I visit Paris mid June early July next year, let me ask you, do you stay in multiple hotels per one visit? I noticed different videos in different hotels with close dates!!! Blessings
You're so kind, thank you Mick! I did stay in three hotels on this trip, one in Paris and the other two in Italy. Have a great trip to Paris next year! Blessings
dear Alexis, the equestrian statue next to bridge Alexandre 3 is Simon Bolivar's one. Bolivar freed many countries in South America during the 19th century. He became the President of Bolivia. On another note, i was wondering whether you visited "Le Bon Marché" which grocery store is outstanding. Le Bon Marché is located in the 7th district, close to the 6th. Greetings
Hi, Alexis! Thanks for posting this video. My Fiance and I are traveling to Paris for our honeymoon, in 2 and a half short weeks. Would you mind providing a little insight into travel restrictions via flying? I've been researching some information online which leads me to believe we are okay traveling (both fully vaccinated), but I would love some feedback from you since you recently traveled. Thanks so much!
Hi Brandan! 1. You definitely need to follow the requirements of the airlines which you're flying to Paris. 2. Same with the US requirements regarding returning travelers. 3. In addition to bringing a copy of your vax certificate, you should take a photo of it and store in your phone. 4. Ask hotel concierge for a nearest location where you can take the test for your return to the US. Good luck. Safe travels. Have fun!
