Streets lined with gigantic storage containers for the Grand Prix, which subsequently was cancelled on March 19.

It’s obvious that you like to be surrounded by loveliness. Some of us have that need to be surrounded by lovely things and lovely places and if we are lucky, lovely people. It makes us feel safe and secure and alive and it inspires us to live every day to the fullest. It makes me sad to think that there are people that don’t even know the word loveliness much less have ever experienced it. Such people are content to struggle day today never realizing that loveliness doesn’t necessarily require a lot of money but rather the genuine desire to experience mans civilized nature and Gods wonders that are everywhere if only one knows where to look.

I used to travel with my mum- when we could afford it we booked the best hotel we could afford and made the most of it. Looking at extravagant breakfast buffets was always part of the experience. Thankyou for letting me do this again from my own sitting room

I stayed at this hotel in early 2000s, attending The Annual Boat Show. Service was fantastic. Environment was very pleasant with friendly employees. Thank you Hermitage Hotel for providing me a wonderful stay. Cheers.

How refreshing a hotel with balconies.
How do you cope with those killer early morning starts?One of my bosses,who we clean for,had us flown to Monaco to clean his 8,000 sq ft apartment and terraces,we had to do a deep clean in late July.We saw the Hermitage and WOW!The Le Metropole was magnificent.Your videos allowed us plebs to actually see the inside of these truly oligarch home turf.Really well done as well.Twenty four hours of cleaning and we were packed back to London on one of his planes,leaving his perfectly adequate cleaning team in charge(all they had to do was lay down smelly bleach mats soaked in hypochlorite solution that ruins everything it comes in contact with and spray the handrails with Lysol).The weather was superb and the few minutes we had for R&R we spent on the promenade just looking at the sea.Truly an oligarch's escape.
