I have developed a habit of de-cluttering on a regular basis. It is an ongoing project, but the one book I will not part with is my Bible. It is the most important book ever written. I use it on a daily basis as my connection to God and a guide for everyday life. living.
Such an eye-opener! I never realized how much physical and emotional clutter can impact our health and well-being. These tips are not only great for decluttering, but they also inspire us to live a more peaceful and fulfilling life. I’m definitely going to start tackling some of these today-thank you for the motivation! 🌟 I also have some tips on my channel. Check it out if you want!
I definitely agree with all these items! These are things that can and will ruin your life and your well being. No matter what your age,do these things now. Don't wait.😊🎉💜💜💜
1. Expired medications and broken medical equipment 2. Old bill, receipts, old manuals. Digitalize them and save to cloud or flash card. 3. An old clothes that you haven’t worn. Take pictures of sentimental items. 4. Unused gadgets. 5. Outdated electronics and cords 6. Extra furniture: safety comes first 7. Books 8. Unused hobby supplies and gardening tools 9. Toxic relationships 10. Regrets and guilt. Release and Forgive yourself.
When I retired, I hauled literally car loads of donations to Goodwill. So many trips that the staff were laughing each time I returned -- "Here she is again!" It was funny. But, now, 9 years later, my house is still cluttered. It's a never-ending effort. Now I'm ready for another round of purging. Especially the darn papers. I'm drowning in papers!
I go through my pile of receipts in January each year and keep only the necessary ones. And yes, it is freeing. I also go through my statement files to clear out the majority of papers. It's a great feeling to get rid of the unnecessary papers. N
I have collected items from trips & loved ones that makes me HAPPY! I do NOT want to “de-clutter” & I’m tired of younger folks telling me to. They live sparse with no “stuff” because they don’t understand “treasures” of things from places & friends & children & grandchildren. I find THAT lack far more sad than my too much that I enjoy.

Women are also responsible for cleaning house, I am retired and decluttered much before we moved into senior apts. Less clutter less cleaning. Much was passed down or donated. Books donated to libraries.
I'm 64yrs and I feel decluttering has helped me live a much better and healthier life. I started with little things and when it was all done, I felt amazing. I realized I really didn't need any of it. It didn't make me who I was or help me feel better in any way.As I look back I feel ridiculous keeping so many crazy collections, clothes and junk! It was all holding me back.
@marlene9682 yep,you are correct. They don't really collect stuff. Which is good. I had to much and purged it all! I feel better, there's no trip/fall hazards. My place is nice and everyone noticed. My world has changed for the better. I just called Salvation Army. They come to get it here in TX. I donated loads of furniture too. I can walk around now. Just let it go! 🤗
@@Jennifer-nz2ss I'm so happy for you. I have decluttered also. Much happier and at peace. It's funny thinking about all the you thought you needed and wanted.
Great video. I agree that things have to be done slower now. I really need to pace myself so I don't do too much and have a relapse. One hour at a time. N
I also agree that I would rather listen to a human being on a video, rather than listening to someone or something I can't relate to or trust as even being human.
What on earth is that thing on the wall that Betty keeps trying to cover? Someone please go in there and rip it off the wall! There are some great suggestions that I have to do right away.
All I can say is good Lord, why would I want to live to 100. Decluttering is always a good idea, but to do so in order to live beyond my expiration date, yea, no thanks.
True get rid of useless material things, you cannot take them with you, focus on Jesus, he is the only way to God, The bible is the manual how too live your life.

Amen!
Very wise post! The best selling and most important volume that has ever existed.
This video is interesting. Over the years getting rid of old furniture, clothes and things i no longer use gave me such a sense of freedom

Great job! Congratulations 🎉😊
I can identify with some those habits..I have learnt alot and I will implement..
I don’t know how to file things digitally. In the cloud. I can’t find them. That is a problem.

I have realized they truly don't want our things. They just think differently.

Yes, I want to live better, but I have NO desire to live longer. Quantity, without quality, is counter-productive.
EXACTLY

I have held on to some of my Navy uniforms. They need to go!
It was hard but I finally let my Army uniforms go.

Good reminders!
I agree Scott Jennings speaks truth
Very informative video!

The thought of living to 100 is terrifying 😂
Oh God, the thought of living to 100 is a threat, not something to strive for.
In other words, clear out stuff that doesn't serve you on a daily basis. Ok, done.
All I can say is good Lord, why would I want to live to 100. Decluttering is always a good idea, but to do so in order to live beyond my expiration date, yea, no thanks.
Music too loud.
I wish video creators would do away with background music (completely)…. It’s either too loud or just plain annoying… imho

Omg! This is far too long and redundant. It could have been 5 minutes.
the bouncing text is hard to read. Especially for old eyes.
I find the bouncing text to be distracting and irritating.
My sewing machine????????
What’s the real takeaway here? It feels like there’s more to it
You are giving out the same old stuff all the time
That voice is on another site I’m listening to. Makes me kinda not want to listen same voice on every thing. I like real voices. Get on with it.
Showing young people decluttering doesn’t doesn’t help with the title.
Young people are required to sell the idea. Old people, even when you’re talking to them or about them, must remain invisible. 😄
And you cannot get to the point!
Old Photos
🫣 I wanted to watch this video but had to stop because your jumping captions made me dizzy and nauseous. Not just me. Others told me the same thing.
