Listening to these Beauty gurus my hair is thin, dry, and brittle, I'm going back to the old way starting today.

Mixed Chicks Leave in dried my curls right out😔 Gonna stick to the lotion with a natural gel custard seems to work well for me Texture ID Curls Styling Custard works for my hair type, to give it great hold and definition without drying it out😉

Palmers coco butter lotion gives my hair a bomb ass slip. And no heavy feel. The way the to tell a lotion is ok in hair is how fast it absorbs in the skin and drys out. The ones that doesn’t dissolve too quickly and leaves a nice feel on the skin for some time my hair feels so soft and shiny. I also I always had problems with most hair products causing acne and the lotions obviously because it’s design for skin. Alba botanical lotion is actually really nice in my hair and leaves a nice hold flexible hold.

I mean, I use Dove Baby bodywash to shampoo (I’m allergic to fragrance. My neck eczema is OVER shampoos). Nothing wrong with using bodycare products for hair. 😂 soap is soap. Moisturizer is moisturizer.

I use pink oil hair lotion, s-curl spray and other hair lotions, as result, no more dry flakey scalp. My hair stopped breaking and has grown back,it feels moist now. Body lotions or hair lotions are the only way my hair feels soft and moist.
That miscellar water trick is THE TRUTH!!!! I use it for clarifying in the middle of protective styles to get the gunk off of my roots and to de-scale my scalp and prevent build up. I do rinse with water spritz after though and I use a t shirt to apply because cotton bits would remain in my hair if I used those 😁
I used Bath & Body Works lotion as a deep conditioner overnight on my hair with a shower cap n a hair bonnet. My hair was so soft n moisturized the next day❤️ I didn’t need to de-tangle my hair b/c the deep conditioning did it for me!
I use winter candy apple bath and body works body cream on my ends sometimes. Smells good. And Brazilian Bum Bum cream on my curls. People act like the word lotion changes the basic ingredients of moisturizer lmfao 😂
I use Bath & Body works lotion & body cream on my hair as a conditioner and hairdressing, and it works. I also use their shower gel as a shampoo..it makes my hair really soft and fragrant, and it cleanses just as well as any shampoo. (If you're concerned about the shower gel drying out your hair you can add a bit of vitamin e oil, or some almond oil to the gel, but I doubt you will need to..the gel is very mild).
So I just accidentally put Cerave moisturizing cream in my dry hair and immediately was like wth...wait what 😳 then I said I discovered something I deserve a nobel prize then there are videos about it lmao. Lotion works!!!

I've tried it many times. Presently I have natural hair too. After washing my hair it is usually dry. I remember my cousin using skin cream as a child and I remembered she really had lovely hair and I decided to give it a try and it work wonders to my dry hair. I had about 1 once vaseline left and I threw in some skin cream in it and mixed it up and am presently using that. It helps to soften my hair when it gets really dry and when no hair product works.
That's wonderful. Vaseline and cream is a good combination for both skin and hair. Plus, it gives extra protection in winter. I'm glad you found something that works. Dry hair can be a pain.
St Ives 24 Hour Deep Restoring Lotion gave me the best moisture curl definition and length retention. I also used the collagen and elastin but I heard the formula changed. I used the lotion in combination with Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 Miracle Worker. This product keeps the lotion from becoming flaky.
Can you dedicate an entire video to itchy scalp recommendations? If you haven't already. I love the Cantu root relief products. But I'm always looking for new tips. I will try the micellar water. The lotion makes sense because lotion relieves other dry skin issues on the body.
I don't have 4c but I actually use Rituals lotion in small amounts as a leave in conditioner and SebaMed urea 10 lotion overnight as a deep conditioning treatment b4 hair wash day. It greatly helps with combability and battling dryness :) The active ingredients are largely the same anyway. Silicones, panthenol, glycerin, lactate etc.
Girl I use nivea body lotion or regular nivea cream on the ends of the hair and I felt bad when I told my stylist about it cause she said that’s bad for hair but I have figured out it works as a leave in conditioner and it works in my ends.

I sweat a lot so I wash my hair daily (I know it's drying and yada yada but I can't stand the feeling of buildup in my hair). I've been using lotion in my hair while it's still damp but not dripping wet. I use it to scrunch my curls for definition and less frizz. It's been so helpful since hair conditioners irritate my acne-prone skin.
I have 3b spiral curls! I tried lotion in my hair as everything I used in my hair still left it feeling dried out. I needed a gel to go with it to keep it from frizzing. I decided to try my sample of Coco Cabana Cream ingot as a birthday gift from Sephora...Omgosh my hair not only looks great, it smells amazing. I think this is going to be my new go to😉
I use baby lotion in my hair actually just now used the equate hypoallergenic compared to Johnsons Baby lotion. It helped my curls big time becaus I DO have mixed hair. It works! And it smells great LOL 😋

I have a lot of oatmeal body lotion I will be using as a deep conditioner for the first time. I like using plastic grocery bags to keep the heat in my hair and to stop the shampoo /conditioner from dripping from my hair. I think it's a waste of money to buy those thin plastic shower caps.

I actually put a healing lotion before i saw this video and im actually blonde on top so its really dry and i blow out every day. It makes my blonde hair look so healthy and light also protects against the heat. Definitely recommend it for coarse dry hair.

Lotion & hair products are the sameeee thing. Companies market them differently so people can buy multiple products for different body parts. Only smart people that can think on their own can see through marketing scams.

I have a lot of oatmeal body lotion I will be using as a deep conditioner for the first time. I like using plastic grocery bags to keep the heat in my hair and to stop the shampoo /conditioner from dripping from my hair. I think it's a waste of money to buy those thin plastic shower caps.

I actually put a healing lotion before i saw this video and im actually blonde on top so its really dry and i blow out every day. It makes my blonde hair look so healthy and light also protects against the heat. Definitely recommend it for coarse dry hair.
