Trust me, as someone who's been on this ride it's way faster in the summer and really fun! Genuinely one of my favorite rides though I'll admit I haven't been on a ton.

You have the clearest sound of the LSMs launching the train out I’ve ever heard. Plus the magnetic breaks slowing down the train on the final brake run as well.
I really do hope they will add SOME theming. Part of why Velocicoaster is so damn good is that the theming is done so well. The way this looks they might as well have built it in a parking lot.
BGW is such a mixed bag when you have rides like this in a park with rides like Pompeii, verbolten, and alpengeist. This looks really stark though in a field pretty much
@@Primogen18 very true. Griffon and Apollo's Chariot are pretty poorly themed as well. However Griffon is in the heart of the French area and benefits from the theming around it and Apollo's Chariot at least has some woodland and rolling hill scape under it. But as you say this just looks like it was stuck in an empty field. It's a good looking coaster and being stuck on a flat piece of ground is not necessarily the end of the world when it comes to theming. I mean honestly Hulk at Universal is on a flat piece of gravel but the que line and lift hill and effects all help to overcome that particular issue. The same is true with Batman the Ride at Six Flags over Georgia. It was literally built on the edge of the parking lot but they themed the que line pretty well between the idea of industrial crime ridden warehouses and streets of Gotham and the Batcave section. You know they had two years to get this thing looking good before it opened and it's just disappointing to me that a park that is so renowned for it's beauty (how many years have they won most beautiful theme park now????) couldn't come up with something better than this for such a nice coaster.
I agree....It looks kinda cheap....maybe when the trees and grass turn green it won't be so bad...Drachen Fire was built out in a field but i remember the the walkways around the ride and the viewing area around the final helix allowed you to sort of interact with the ride.

Was most definitely time of day. That outer bank early in the day felt like Orions. All nice and graceful. My night ride tried to yeet me into the Rhine. I got SteVe flashbacks.
Looks buttery smooth and quiet. Hearing everyone's thoughts was unlike other POVs where there's lots of wind and track noise. This just seems like a fun ride. No Velocicoaster or Gwazi but a damn fun ride!

That’s exactly what I said when the first POV was released. They should’ve started with the multi launch and used the track from the first part on another inversion or something when the ride actually has some steam.
Was able to ride this four times on a Friday. Lines weren’t long at all. THIS RIDE IS A TRUE THRILL , damn near pissed myself. It’s much faster then it looks and that 2nd drop is lethal but worth the thrill!!!
When the train failed to crest that one hill midway through the ride, I thought it was a malfunction! That’s very clever how the designers added that in. When first approaching that hill, the train doesn’t have enough speed to make it over the top. However, after going through the rollback and then attempting the hill again, the train has more speed and is able to make it over the top. Looks like a really smooth ride, too!

Like I'm from Florida and have taken many rides on velocicoaster its a great ride . So I understand the blitz cant be a great coaster this just looks like it kinda drifts around aimlessly till you get to the top hat.

Your right that we haven’t ridden it yet, but we’ve been waiting for over 2 years and the company has been basically teasing “we have new rides you can’t ride yet”. Iron Gwazi seems like the only coaster worth the hype and 2+ year anticipation.

I’m just pointing out that Intamin is really good at taking notes on what works from other companies. I’m also more than sure that Parks have some say in the layout of their coasters, especially since most of BGW’s coasters are terrain coasters.
I'll be going to BGW for the first time in 20 years next month. So excited for Pantheon and all the other additions since my last visit! Also R.I.P. Big Bad Wolf :(
@@jawtalk085 Amazing! I got 1 ride in and sat in the back row. The vertical spike was like Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast only shorter and without that extra boost. There was a nice pop of ejector airtime going through the final launch before barely crawling over the top hat. Also, the hangtime on the stall was great! Edit: Also by some stroke of luck I ran past the Coaster Studios crew. I was gonna stop and say hi, but I needed to get to Loch Ness Monster for the last ride of the day.
Im so excited pantheon is opening tommorow I must go to busch gardens as soon as possible and ride this. I think we can all agree that we have been waiting way to long for this ride to come out. That is the reason im so excited.
Idk why but I’ve always thought the layout was kind of lame however I’m not talking about the elements themselves as they look amazing! I’m talking about the flow of them for example, after the top hat it does a sharp right into the outward banked hill then another right turn into the stall, finally left turn into another banked hill and into the brakes. Like the track barely crosses over and the ride just ends after the banked hill. Again the elements look awesome! But the flow from each just seems off to me.
I said the same thing...that final turn after the stall seems weird like it doesn't have that graceful flow into the that banked hill. They could've maybe went back into the field and did another inversion then turn back to the station. The ride seems short
@@rdbarne I wouldn’t say it’s short based on the swing launch, but yeah especially the ending. I’m sure it gives great airtime, but it just ends right after. I’m not a roller coaster engineer obviously, but I would’ve changed the ending; looks awkward. But hey maybe the elements will be outstanding and it won’t matter lol
I think the stall should have turned the other way going into it if you get what i mean. That would have created a whippy transition to the left. Now it's technically al righthand turns from the tophat except for the final one.
Looks great but I must say I’m underwhelmed by the speed it goes over that outerbank with, along with that it seems really quite short with a lot of wasted speed

I do hope they add some theming later on. Abyssus opened without complete theming but then it was added later and many other coasters have done that as well. Pantheon doesn't need anything extravagant but some rock work and faux ancient ruins would be really cool. When they first announced Pantheon they said the different sections would represent different Roman gods. I think they could incorporate that idea in a meaningful way by adding the ruins and then large sculptures of the corresponding God that you would pass by in each tract section. No one is expecting Expedition Everest. But touches like that could be reasonably affordable and would really add to the excitement and overall theme and it would complement the Festa Italia area very well.
Maybe it’ll happen for BGWs 50th anniversary in 2025. Of course, the queue would also need a major makeover, as its boxed in on all sides and also is very sparsely themed. But still. It could happen

Wow wow wow. Rarely am I super impressed or wow’ed by a POV but this looks fantastic. I am normally bored by these types of back and forth launch coasters as well but this one is REALLY unique with all of the launches and elements. Plus it’s very long for a launch coaster. Usually these types of coasters have a simple element and it’s a short ride. This ride feels like a person is controlling it lol. Almost like the launches are deliberately “controlling” the coaster which is cool. They need to install these types of launches on regular rollercoasters more often- like in dead spots or to make things more interesting

Really not a fan of these over-stabilized videos that completely mute the snappiness of some of the elements. EDIT: The outward banked hill at 0:27 just gets completely eliminated. The steepness coming down from the top-hat at 0:59 gets de-emphasized. The zero-G stall at 1:12 gets turned into a boring, traditional zero-G roll. All the snappy rolls heading into the brake run are just completely eliminated. Who is asking for this absurd stabilization? It lessens the apparent intensity of the ride.
I got on it today and it’s one of my top5 coasters right now. It’s so fast and has burst also that little hill get u some nice hang time coming back down. 10/10 coasters y’all have to try it

Pretty interesting, I've never ridden a coaster with a launch element in the middle like that, wondering if it's a bit gimmicky or not. Seems fun anyway
I wish we got the full layout to this ride. It's missing over 1000ft of track because BGW weren't allowed to let it cross the river. Apparently it was going to have two shuttle sections with the second launching you across the river into a 300+ ft spike that you come down backwards as you haul ass into the final brakes into a mini spike/switch track back into the station.
This is one of my home-parks! I’ve been a season pass holder since 2020 when this was supposed to open, patiently waiting for it to! I was kind of mad last year cause I thought it was going to open!
It was just a lot of excitement going on yesterday for us , so many people being critical that didn’t even ride yesterday how would you guys even know , the videos don’t do it any justice
You know, the only thing I kinda wish they had was a vertical loop between the launch and back spike. I feel like that would have really pushed this into an elite coaster. It looks great don't get me wrong, but it just feels like it's missing 1 punch that would make it spectacular.
Is there more landscaping or theme elements coming? Because honestly the dirt and grass looks like whats left over after construction, looks unfinished to me. But the ride looks amazing!

It inverts, is goes backwards, it has a second launch. This is actually a really neat coaster design!

I'd prefer Intamin stick to their own style. That way RMCs stay unique. Also Intamin doesn't need to change

Pretty interesting, I've never ridden a coaster with a launch element in the middle like that, wondering if it's a bit gimmicky or not. Seems fun anyway

I wish we got the full layout to this ride. It's missing over 1000ft of track because BGW weren't allowed to let it cross the river.
Apparently it was going to have two shuttle sections with the second launching you across the river into a 300+ ft spike that you come down backwards as you haul ass into the final brakes into a mini spike/switch track back into the station.

This is one of my home-parks! I’ve been a season pass holder since 2020 when this was supposed to open, patiently waiting for it to! I was kind of mad last year cause I thought it was going to open!

You know, the only thing I kinda wish they had was a vertical loop between the launch and back spike. I feel like that would have really pushed this into an elite coaster. It looks great don't get me wrong, but it just feels like it's missing 1 punch that would make it spectacular.

Is there more landscaping or theme elements coming? Because honestly the dirt and grass looks like whats left over after construction, looks unfinished to me. But the ride looks amazing!
