Thanks for taking us with you. Definitely shop with mom as long as you can I used to.with mine she passed in 2010 miss her daily. Have a wonderful Christma season and get felling better
That was so much fun! I loved seeing all of the different things for sale. You did a great job filming everything and going slow and steady. Great stores. The items were clean and displayed with respect for their age. I can't wait to see what you ended up buying, outside of the duvet set and basket for your mom.
WHAT FUN! THAT WAS A NEAT THRIFT STORE..SLASH ANTIQUE PALACE. WHISH I WAS THERE,LIKE AT 75&1/2 I NEED ANYTHING ELSE,BUT IT'S FUN& THRILLING. NOT SO MUCH WHEN MY SON GETS MY MESS...HE LIKES STUFF TOO THOUGH.😮.💞💒🌬❄☃️🌟🌲🤗🙏
The white iron piece that you talked about with your mother is a bracket for an oil lamp. You hang the bracket on the wall and set a short squat oil lamp in it. Usually there is a reflector behind the oil lamp to produce more light
Loved going along with you and your mom thrifting. The "tongs" are for firewood. 😁Hay baylors are a little larger (at least the ones I have and grew up with). I hope you have a blessed and wonderful Christmas.💚❤🎄
I have a floor lamp which was my mother’s. She passed 27 years ago. I think the lamp is 50 years old give or take. It’s brass including the shade. It needs a new switch AGAIN, but it’s not leaving my house even though it’s not working at present. I adore it. I have a friend or two who will fix it for me. I hope your mother is having a pleasant visit. She’s so pleasant. Is she wearing your jacket? I ask only because it seems like something you would wear. Happy holidays. I’m surprised you didn’t buy that table. If it was too short you could have put ball feet on it. That may be a regret. I have old maple furniture, you know the orangey kind. I love it only because it reminds me of my childhood and my parents. I bought an old end table with a shelf as a bedside table and an old rocker/glider. $35 for the 2 pieces, $225 for an entire bedroom suite including dressing table with mirror and bench, chest, foot and headboard etc. I’ll never replace it, but I don’t care for footboard as it’s restrictive and hurts my hands.
Hi, those red clips for 10$ are candleholders for on the Christmas 🎄 tree! I still have and use them. It's a totally different atmosphere when there lite. Merry Christmas
I believe I did. Acme Junk Co, Worn again, and Bittersweet in Amery, WI. Then The Looking Glass in Osceola, and lastly Riverwood Nature Center in Star Prairie, WI.
I’m pretty good about staying within my budget. Especially during the holiday season. I only came home with the Syracuse China plate for @nicolenorthgarden and the binder.
I always love to hear the squeaky old floors 😊!
Oh me too!!

Oh no! So sorry to hear that. I’m trying to get my mom to move closer. 💋

Loved this. My Mom has dementia. She just got out of the hospital yesterday. Loved going out and doing things with her. Hug her tight Jamie!

Such treasures! If the dry sink is still there, I may go back for it on my birthday. 😘
Great video. Love the crocks. Love the basket your mom got.
Great video! I really enjoyed looking at all the treasures.

Hi Jamie 💓 I really love the trifting stores today lots of fun vintage xmas decor happy holidays always Laura ❤
The first store is just sensory overload! The bunny mug looked like Groucho Marx!
Me to? I heard Avery Wi, where else are there shops in the area you go to.
It’s Amery, Wi and Osceola, WI. The one in Star Prairie, WI is now closed for the season until April.
Can you please share the names of the shops and which towns in Wisconsin? Minnesotan wants to cross the border 🚙🛍️

Four or five thrifts in one day? Id be more worried how my budget is going to hold up versus my energy🥺
