I love every Nordic country and landscapes. I love the atmosphere in mountains and fjords when you feel like you will be calm for the rest of your life. Some friends can't understand why I don't like summer and why I'm not visiting during holidays holiday resorts near sea and tropic islands.

I'm Swedish, but have lived & worked extensively in all of Scandinavia and I totally agree, Norway is the most beautiful place on earth. It's just breath taking. And not just some places but literally all over. There are no meh-places in Norway. Every single sqm of that country is like something out of a fairy tale. Even industrial lots & junk yards look better than anywhere else. Not kidding! 🥰
Well Sweden has lots of mountains but it is not as dramatic as in Norway. Sweden has other stuff like Visby and Danmark has a spectacular coastline with beautiful towns and hamlets.
@@RyanShirley Denmark has lots of fjords just no mountains. Instead Denmark has long sandy beaches and an amazing coastline with the largest moving dune in Northern Europe, Råbjerg Mile.
Lord of the Rings Author J.R.R. Tolkien was a big fan of Norwegian, and Norse Icelandic Saga's. The history behind these places is what introduced him to the idea of writing the Lord of the Rings. I thought the fire in Iceland looked like Mordor.
Dang, i didn't know that! I just knew he loved the alps but that makes total sense! Iceland does look a lot like Mordor! I need to re watch the LOTR movies now lol
Wonderful video. Before Covid, I spent most of my vacations in the Nordics, except one time in Alaska. I took a ring road tour in Iceland, drove through Norway from Bergen to Nordkapp, drove through the north of Finland and Sweden, and spent two days in Denmark. Personally Norway and Iceland are both winners, and maybe Norway gets a little higher because of its diversity. All the falls in Iceland and all the fjords in Norway with snow sceneries attract me a lot. Sweden and Finland is a bit boring for me, because there are similar long roads between plains and forests...Not interesting for a driving enthusiast. In the last, Denmark is more "normal" Europe than Nordic Europe for me. When I walked in Copenhagen, I didn't feel much different from Amsterdan, Hamburg...Maybe I just love the combination of mountains and water haha.

Watch Ralph Bakshi's Animated Lord of the Rings let the mystery in it's illustrations sink into your soul, including the BBC Chronicles of Narnia movie or something. There not as good as the HollyWood motion picture films, but the music in the back round makes it Mysterious.

The largest part of the sweden norway border is actually made up of mountain range so there are definitely mountains in Sweden
