- This Love was easily my favorite song of Taylor Swift’s 1989 album. As soon as I heard it I wanted to make my own acoustic version!
For my This Love Taylor Swift cover I tried to incorporate a lot of piano (of course, this is PIANO with Corey!) but I also include other instruments as well like guitar and cahon, to give it a really immersive sound. The end result is some relaxing, encompassing acoustic music.
For this Taylor Swift This Love acoustic version I also tried to stay true to the original with the double-tracked vocals drenched in reverb. I love that kinda stuff- it sounds so ethereal. So I made sure to include those effects in my This Love piano cover as well.
