Virje waterfall (Slap Virje) near Bovec, Slovenia

If you're travelling along the emerald river Soča (Slovenia) don't miss out this spectacular place. It's quite close to the famous town of Bovec.
The Glijun stream, fed by the subterranean waters of the Kanin mountain range, falls into a 20-metre(65 feet)-wide and 12-metre(40 feet)-high multi-stranded waterfall named Virje.
Underneath there's a bright green pool, caught between lush growth and moss-covered rocks. A little further the stream flows into the river Soča.
