    ~ Gotta help you out brother.... Dan Lanning wasn't just an "assistant" at Georgia...... He was the defensive coordinator for the top defense in college football history...
    Lanning was an assistant at Alabama under Saben... But he was the top dog for the Georgia defense.... Coordinator and assistant are two completely different things

      By "assistant" I meant assistant coach A.K.A coordinator but I do appreciate the clarification!

      Settle down boy........BAMA Georgia OHIO STATE & Clemson - all have "facilities" that are top notch and really are not behind anybody - in any real 'meaningful' way. My guess is Texas has the $ to do whatever they want too ? > OHIO ST. and TEXAS are the two 'wealthiest' athletic programs - the - ''only 2 schools'' - who can afford '''all 36''' mens & womens NCAA sanctioned sports ! --- Oregon - only has 18. (( Think about how much room that is (?) - for improvement )) --- Michigan & Penn St. both have 29 !

    Since we're talking about programs and conferences -- not particular teams -- I think it bears mentioning that Oregon has played B1G teams many times. I think Oregon is 11 - 6 vs B1G teams since 2000.
    That includes wins over Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Michigan State, etc. The absolute ass-kicking of Michigan was especially amusing (that game with the fake Statue of Liberty mentioned in the video :-).
    So, you know, not super scared that Oregon can't compete. And in keeping with what was presented in this video, sure looks like Oregon is going in an elite direction -- and it seems like they are especially well-positioned for this new CFB game, i.e. they have access to metric shart-loads of $$$ and know what to do with it. And they know how to market themselves.

    • @KB3TLE
      @KB3TLE 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Against OHIO ST > they are 1 - 9 ? All time. -- I remember OREGON playing PENN ST in the Rose Bowl & getting it handed to them ? Much like PS did to UTAH in the recent Rose Bowl. > PS has been consistently the 3rd best - in recent history.

    I’ve been watching Oregon build as a brand since around 1995? I’ve always believed that we would continue to build towards a national power. I believed we would become a west coast Alabama or Georgia. I still believe that. They had to get clever to do it. Buying billboards In NYC. The brand, uniforms etc. even the mascot is cool. There’s lots of cool history with Oregon. Track especially. Nike. Oregon is just different but with swagger. Oregon is going to be a powerhouse. I was hoping eventually we’d focus more on the lineman. That has now happen. I get more excited when I see we got a highly ranked lineman. That’s what I pay attention to the most.

    Your version of -- "all the way back" (?) -- only goes to the - Chip Kelly era ? 🤗 That's hilarious to us seasoned veteran fans of the Big 10's best ! -- Put aside me being a Buckeye Fan for 55+ years - but many in the Big 10 - go back to - "the big 2 & the little 8" -- while most hang their hats on going back to 1936 - the 1st year of polls (!) - and - the postseasons highest ranked team average !!! > Of everybody. OU is a close 2nd. (This time frame considered the "modern era") -?- Now this new era with NIL is going to change things some - for certain and the Nike factor should help Oregon enormously - compared to many. But - it hasn't happened - yet ! And.... potential never won a game. Last season was a perfect example...when most thought Oregon would win the rematch with Washington - easily (!) -- and -- '''that''' didn't happen ? What's worse is - that W team got demolished by M !!! A team OSU took - down to the wire in the Big House ? - - - I just think you might be counting your chickens - well before they hatch. They do have a path - but.......

      🤗 That was 2 & 3* players @ UCLA. (?) > OHIO STATE has dozens of high 4* and 15 - 5*'s players - that Kelly never has had - anywhere he's been !!! 🤔 He's - "giddy" now and licking his chops - from what some are saying - that's close to things there. @@brucebane5602 Your funny. His 'aptitude' as an OC is likely in a league of it's own. Being a HC has never allowed his 100% attention ? The one thing that I think the Big 10 hasn't experienced anytime recently is having many teams make plays for being true conference contenders. I think the Big ten is going to become a lot deeper over the next several years.... I don't think organ is going to fall very far from being a conference contender most of the time though. They're here for football. They're not going anywhere.
