You must be the lucky one. Biggest piece of poop mower I ever owned, been limping it along for 4 years now. Engine flywheel has a chunk missing, doesnt want to turn left anymore, and now the drive belt needs to be replaced. Not to mention the pulleys breaking on the mower deck!
Alfonso Demagistris A dealer I know said the same thing! 🤣 You wouldn’t believe the amount of abuse I put this mower through and it never once gave me any crap. 3 batteries is the ONLY thing I ever replaced on this mower. I never maintenanced anything except for the oil and oil filter. I have no doubts I got lucky!
how do it cut compared to the ultima zt1
About how fast was your top speed? I just recently got that same model for $50 on my brother in law. Got it all running good the reason it was so cheap is that the clutch for the zero turn went out and the guy who had the mower before my brother in law welded the rear end into a posi. This cub cadet is bigger than any other the older mowers I’ve had yet the smaller ones go way faster. I just wanted to know how that one drove still being a zero turn so I can figure out if the welded rear end is what makes it go slower. Thanks
XxHollywood_97xX Davis It mozied along LoL. I couldn’t tell you the ground speed, but it was fairly slow.
Weird. Because it doesn't have a rear end. There are two hydros in the back.
I have a 2010 i1050......480 hrs on it.....had only 2 issues....had to replace the drive belt twice and the steering shaft....but nothing else

I had a Cub 38" with a single cylinder Command engine that lasted with no real issues....sold it in 2010 because we moved and I needed a 50" for 2 acres....otherwise I would have kept it.....it had a metal hood......last of those type sold at HD and Lowes.
I have a 2008 i1050 for sale with 25hp. Only thing steering box needs rebuilt

Fkn junk mower, had nothing but problems!!! Belts, pulleys on deck, starter, carb, only runs on more than a 1/2 tank. Zero turn junk!!!
