I've used this website/method to install Windows 11 on client machines at my IT job for a few months now and it's been great. My favorite feature is you can have it run commands via powershell or CMD during the setup automatically. So I can have it do things like enable the High Performance Power Plan, disable Fast Startup, export a system info document, or my favorite; run registry edits to remove the new Windows 11 right click menu or even remove the option for end users to "Switch to new Outlook"
I was, admittedly, reluctant to include bits about powershell because it's still a bit foreign to me, but from what I've seen it comes in SUPER handy when done right.
Thank you Greg for uploading this video. I’m about to reinstall my pc after a few years of useless bloat being added and gigabytes of storage being wasted on unused applications or features!

That's why there's a disable updates option in the answer file generator... Some will never come back. But you'll still be much better off than if you'd gone the vanilla route.

Was just thinking about finding ways to reduce windows 11 to a shell without having to worry about random update reboots so this video couldn't have come at a better time.
I would love to see a followup video that "Drag races" PCs for a debloated comparison. I haven't seen any channel do that yet thus far. I dunno, could be interesting.
Does any of the settings or apps get changed back when you run windows updates?
That's why there's a disable updates option in the answer file generator... If MS does manage to work around it (which could very well happen at some point), it doesn't mean the entire OS is suddenly bloated again. It may force one or two features through at a time. Some will never come back. But you'll still be much better off than if you'd gone the vanilla route.
@@GregSalazarWow! Thanks for answering. I must have missed that part good to know. Thanks for all your vids. 👍
Can I use this to reinstall on my current system to remove all the extra crap that windows installs?
One question. After applying updates post installation, will any of the bloat come back?
Make sure to check the automatic Windows updates box in the answer file generator. @@GregSalazar Alright. Thanks a bunch.
3:17 Always showing file extensions is a quite important one, since a lot of people get scammed through that.
you are typing your admin username and password into an internet site, I wonder if its worth editing the file it creates on your local machine before running the script to change that pwd
What if you already dl the windows update n it added all the bloatware which ones can I remove as of now?
been using this for awhile now. I have noticed that it does fail with some newer Dell computers.
When I download the .xml file, on the desktop it has the Microsoft edge logo even they I downloaded it on chrome. It's name also has html in it but under details it's called autounattend.xml. Will it still work when added to the windows 11 boot drive?
