The reason why the lil uzi and Babymetal song sounds like that is because it was produce by a member of the band Paledusk. It’s basically a paledusk song with lil uzi and babymetal
Itch for the cure is the interlude that leads into kingslayer. Tbh they blend into one song for me. Would recommend listening to them together without pausing and it’ll probs sound a lot better. Loving the bmth reactions!! Would love to see the ‘There Is a hell’ reaction
Dear Diary makes several references to the video game Resident Evil and the Keeper’s Diary which contains a description written by a researcher about the T-virus infection while he undergoes the process himself and dies in the end with the last words, “Itchy. Tasty”.
Oli actually recently said they’re delaying Post Human 2 due to it not quite meeting their standards. So there is no longer an official release date yet however it’s gonna be sick for sure
The final track One Day is about climate change and humans destroying the world. Amy Lee talks from the perspective of mother nature or the earth and Oli is talking as humanity. Pretty incredible track when you read the lyrics with that in mind
Alright lets be real, the time has come to go back to their old shit since you clearly enjoy the heavy the most. Next album has to be there is a hell, it rivals sempiternal in quality
The intro song dear diary is a reference to the keeper's diary from the first resident evil game which is about a man catching the T-virus and basically slowly turning into a zombie as the diary goes on. The diary ends with 2 words *itchy* and *tasty* which is referenced in the song lyrics and shows the idea of survival horror and it also ties in to how these POST HUMAN albums are heavily inspired by video games also with parasite eve being named after the game parasite eve. There's a whole fucking lore to these albums you'll probably find someone who explains it better on yt lmao
Ludens was made for the videogame death stranding and i think parasite eve is a game oli liked and i think dear diary is referencing resident evil so it's no wonder some of the lyrics don't make sense to you. I really like the album myself and excited for pt2
I WISH i could back to the release of this album, listen to dear diary, parasite eve the WHOLE shenanigans again for the first time. This album is SO good.
Itch For the Cure is the intro to Kingslayer, that's why when you let Kingslayer play immediately after it transitioned perfectly lmaooo🤣🤣 BMTH are not the only artist to ever do a shorter song/intro/transition song hahaha! Itch is very much more straight up drum and bass/hardcore song in comparison to Kingslayer tho which, even tho is very dance inspired, it's obviously still mostly a metal song. So I understand your distaste, since you weren't expecting it. Even tho I love the sound of Itch tho I definitely wouldn't have it in playlists on its own, because it isn't complete without the song that comes after. It's great as a full album experience with no pauses/skips, though👍 (Also, just reached this part of the vid- Ludens is from the soundtrack for the video game Death Stranding, by Hideo Kojima, known for the Metal Gear series!)
A recent single they did with CORPSE is worth checking out. Song is called “Code Mistake”. After that, you’re into the much heavier stuff. Would probably start with the “There Is A Hell” album.
Some people have already commented about it but while written to sound like a break up/love song it’s actually about human beings and our relationship with nature and earth and how we are fucking up the planet and it might soon be too late to fix. Amy Lee is singing from the perspective of Mother Nature and Oli is singing from the perspective of mankind.
FFS I love that you just randomly tried out BMTH one day... it's the exact same thing I did. Had no clue wtf I was getting into... it was the day the Sempiternal album dropped.
My comment might’ve disappeared but, uzi trolled with the babymetal song. Their first two albums are legendary, and they were only 10 when they recorded their first album. Also good pick this is one of my favorite bmth albums, along with sempiternal and there is a hell.
Thanks for the reason to re-listen a great album. Also I recommend react to you me at six- bite my tongue, while she sleeps - silens speaks , ic3peak- vampir, and ed sheeran-bad habits . Its a great feats with BMTH
Did you mean, silence speaks by while she sleeps? Not being picky, obviously a typoz but never find that.😂😂 Gotta laugh right🤪 they've done some amazing collabs though. All great. Don't think I've heard a bad 1. Also did.... Maybe with MGK Did 2 with you me at six and architects and the song fallout with that rapper guy. Sounds like you are about to have a great time listening to their older music! Can't wait! As some have said, go with the album "there is a hell...", it was made right before the album Sempiternal
Butterflies… is about climate change. And Amy is Mother Earth singing to man kind (Oli) if you go back and interpret the lyrics they make perfect sense.
Idea 💡 after your finished with all of the albums. Someone should make a playlist of all of the singles and features that are their own thing. And you listen to that.
If you're looking for other bands in a similar vein to bmth, i'd highly recommend checking out Architects (their older albums are heavier than their newer ones + All Our Gods Have Abandoned us is a great album) or While She Sleeps (has a song w/ the singer of bring me, Silence Speaks). Two of my personal favorites
i would 100% reccomend the album From Mars to Sirius by Gojira. its from a french death metal band and is one of my few 10/10's in music. some of the most impressive work ever.
56:00 bro it isn't exactly the same thing but I wanna know how this man would react to some unhinged Revenge era Gerard Way bs, My Chemical Romance is def more punk/rock than metal but when that dude screams it sounds like the inside of serial killers' mind lmaoo, not to mention when Frank and Ray pull out the riffs and solos... Is there a request/donation process on this channel?? :DD
El mejor EP de Bring Me the Horizon, mi album favorito de ellos es There is a Hell, me alegro que este EP te haya cambiado la perspectiva de Babymetal, mi canciones favoritas son Dear Diary, Parasite Eve y Ludens, saludos. ❤
Definitely listen to their old albums if you like the heavy shit. But man I dunno it might be a bit much especially suicide season and count your blessings
It is. It’s written in the style of a love/break up song but it’s about earth and mankind. Amy Lee is singing from the perspective of Mother Nature and Oli is singing from the perspective of mankind :)
My comment got deleted again😮 This album was created during COVID lockdown. Dear Diary is a play on that, but if it was maybe a zombie apocalypse. And ref to resident evil. So that might make more sense with all the crazy lyrics in this EP.😂 Obey is about hiw the government controlled our lives diring lockdown and always messed it up. Alot if COVID ref. The butterfly song with Amy Lee is chiilling because its actually about how mother nature (played by Amy lee) telling humanity (olis part) is wreckingbthe planet and soon the world be iver if we dont take care of it. Creepy the way it sung too because its so true. Their early stuff is waaaay more crazy than dear diary. Trust. You would defo need lyrics up. 😂 There is a hell album is like a mixture between their OG stuff and Sempiternal. Much more easy to digest than their old old stuff. You ain't ready for that.😂 But can't wait.🤪 But they've changed so much over the years . Great to see this uploaded. Sad about royal Albert hall being blocked.
You’ve now reacted to all the albums where Oli is singing. The earlier ones are all shouting and screaming only, apart from guest singers. Another vote for There Is A Hell… next. Then Suicide Season, then Count Your Blessings, then This Is What The Edge…. At this point the new album will be almost out. So many other random bits that are hit or miss. A dubstep version of the album Suicide Season, a chill out version of the album There Is A Hell. Dear Diary gives you an indication as to what the whole “Count Your Blessings” album will sound like. If Dear Diary was half the speed, it would be an indication of Suicide Season There Is A Hell is like Sempiternal but Oli doesn’t sing
PLEASE react to Evanescence (Amy Lee) band. Fallen album. You should know 1 song from there. It eas huge. You will 100% love it. Metal/ rock with a difference. Well when you hear someone as boldly atheist as Oli, certainly a bold move considering religion has been pulverized into our eardrums at such a young age
I started playing guitar in 2006 because of these guys. Join a hardcore band, wear some skinny jeans and all the girls liked you back then. Musically though, these dudes have literally been on the front of metal. Whatever album they put out, everyone else copied them. It is a weird trend in post-hardcore genre, literally whatever BMTH puts out every other bands copies them. New BMTH is dope, experimental, way different than what they used to be. Till this day i still know how to play the lead in ‘Medusa’. That was my youth lol
Amy Lee is the lead singer for band "Evanescence". Their most popular songs are "bring me to life" and "my immortal". You def heard of them.
