Loved that you included Gabon, it is one of my favorite seasons. Despite Crystal's challenge prowess, I am glad people commend her for convincing Susie to flip
I don’t remember exactly but wasn’t everyone going to vote her out anyways? So whether or whether not Ciera wrote her mom’s name down, she would’ve left anyways.
@@JJenkinns Yup it was a pointless "flip" to prove herself to an alliance that she would turn against literally the next vote. But it played to the season so Jeff and the Producers acted like it was the biggest move since Hatch dropped out of the Final Immunity Challenge
this is why cagayan is the best season of survivor. Everything you ask for is in there amazing comebacks, llama talking, amazing blindsides for a newbies season they were insane.
i will never get over John The Rocket Scientist listing off galu’s dumb moves that he was largely responsible for, or at the very least actively participated in lmao. honestly i wish samoa focused on the collapse of galu more, it’s the most entertaining aspect of the season for me.
Samoa really would've been truly phenomenal if Russell got a normal or slightly heightened amount of confessionals. There was no good reason to give him over 100 and the winner like 15.
Not sure this would fit your style, but thinking about the way Lex and Kathy FELT like Rob flipped and backstabbed but we as the viewer were more positioned to think Rob was never with them in the first place - it could be interesting to look at older seasons that might be presented differently with modern editing choices or how "the edit" might have changed our perception. If we followed Lex and Kathy as characters and Rob wasn't our narrator, would we expect a different outcome? In a modern season would the show have tried to hide Rob and Amber a bit more to avoid an obvious winner pair edit? What other major survivor moments might be remembered differently if they had been edited with the modern style?
The thought of flipping on Wigglesworth in season 1 was huge at the time, just not executed. The first flip could be considered Colby flipping to align with Tina in season 2, which set up both for great success
I WANT MARCUS BACK FOR SURVIVOR 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE HAD SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL GOSH HE WOULD BECOME A SURVIVOR LEGEND IF GIVEN ANOTHER CHANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edit : And John Carroll too, he is sooooo underrated!!!
every time i watch erik's blindsinde on samoa i feel so bad for him. but at the same part i still love the part that he played on the jury so it's ok i can handle it
I agree, a lot of these aren't betrayals. REAL betrayals are: -Cesternino betraying Alex at final 7 (Amazon) -Cesternino betraying Christy at final 6 (Amazon) -Boston Rob betraying Lex/Kathy at merge (All-Stars) -Boston Rob/Amber betraying Alicia then Big Tom (All-Stars) -Steph and Rafe betraying Judd at final 6 (Guatemala) -Penner betraying Nate and Raro at final 9 (Cook Islands) -Parvati/Cirie betraying Ozzy and former favourites at final 9 (Micronesia) -Natalie betraying Jason at final 8 (Micronesia) -Sugar betraying Ace at final 12 (Gabon) -Hantz betraying JT, leading to Parvati voting him out with his own idol at merge (HvV) -Omotepe betraying Matt at final 12 (Redemption Island) -Kim betraying Kat at final 7 (One World) -Kim betraying Alicia at final 5 (One World) -[REDACTED] betraying Artis at final 9 (Philippines) -Dawn betraying Brenda at final 6 (Caramoan) -Vlachos betraying Trish at final 5 (Cagayan) -Natalie betraying Baylor at final 5 (San Juan Del Sur) -Aubry betraying Pete at final 12 (Kaoh Rong) -Tai betraying Scot/Jason at final 8 (Kaoh Rong) -Jay betraying Michaela at final 14 (MvGX) -Sarah betraying Debbie and her alliance at final 11 (Game Changers) -Alec betraying Natalia at final 16 (DvG) -Girls betraying Chelsea at final 17 (IOTI) -Denise betraying Sandra at final 13 (WaW) -Ricard betraying Shan at final 8 (41) -Jesse betraying Cody at final 6 (43) -Maria betraying Charlie by voting for Kenzie to win instead of him (46)
Jonathan betraying raro for a not so good reason. If he agreed to flip but them didnt the idol would be flushed and it would be 4 v4 which is better then not flipping
I love flips and surprises, but Cochran... damn i hate the way he plays. (Nothing against his person, just his game, i don't like watching him at all and hated his winning season 😭)
I love Cagayan However, the way Kass and Whoo literally handed Tony the money pisses me off to this day. They could've voted him out. And to think that it could've been queen Morgan to do that it was between the two of them. I would've screaaaaamed for Morgan if he was voted out then.

Gabon the meme season of Survivor!
@@lastdayonearthmysteryman4849no Gabon is the GOAT season of survivor yall just can’t see the beauty of it 😭
@@Lethimcookfr YES WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE ON GABON BOB IS THE BEST
Thank God for the Kass flip, the post merge was amazing because of it
I think that if they voted out Tony.
Kass, Spencer and Tasha would've delivered.
An underrated betrayal in survivor history that really goes under reported is when Ciera voted out her OWN MOM in Blood Vs Water.
But unironically: I finished that season just a while ago and I really liked Ciera flip at f6 which forced rocks draw
This moment being called "under reported" must mean we are healing as a fandom 😂. Seeing it as a good game move is the way to go!!
I’ve never heard about that! Can someone fill me in?😂
Aubrey's flip where she crossed out the first name on her parchment was pretty iconic
this is why cagayan is the best season of survivor. Everything you ask for is in there amazing comebacks, llama talking, amazing blindsides for a newbies season they were insane.
100% agreed 😂
Thumbnail being mostly made of Cagayan players is so accurate
Cagayan Tony every other vote that season can make the entirety of part 2 :))
Survivor: Cagayan - Brawns vs Brains vs Betrayals
It's all Cagayan tho.
i will never get over John The Rocket Scientist listing off galu’s dumb moves that he was largely responsible for, or at the very least actively participated in lmao. honestly i wish samoa focused on the collapse of galu more, it’s the most entertaining aspect of the season for me.
Rob's flip in Amazon is such an iconic betrayal.
Susie flipping in Gabon was so good. Crystal's comment to Marcus in the voting confessional made it even better.
23:42 If Marcus was SpongeBob.
Corinne is Sandy Cheeks.
Sugar is Patrick Star.
Matty is Squidward.
19:42 I love how he said he's smarter, while holding up a vote that says "Luara"
Samoa really would've been truly phenomenal if Russell got a normal or slightly heightened amount of confessionals. There was no good reason to give him over 100 and the winner like 15.
26:50 man old school seasons just hit so much different.
@4:40 how could you leave out Davie's victory speech!? Davie Rickenbacker takes out the mayor of slamtown. 😂
Tony great player however the Cass flip was his lucky moment in the game.
Whoo basically handed him the win at the end...
I can’t believe this betrayal wasn’t added. But we need Tai betraying Scot in Kaoh Rong
Looking at you Maria
Crystal is a former Olympic gold medalist her medal was stripped for PED use.

These are Flipps, but the biggest betrayal ever is Maria voting for Kenzie instead of Charlie... And i dont see that being topped in a long time
Rob. Amber. Lex. Was completely shocked it wasn’t number 1. lol the way Lex acted
The thought of flipping on Wigglesworth in season 1 was huge at the time, just not executed. The first flip could be considered Colby flipping to align with Tina in season 2, which set up both for great success
Not Angelina climbing Mount Everest 😂😂
8:47 the night chaos Kass was born
Crystal had some help in the Olympics 👀

Where's Jesse betraying Cody on S43?!?!?!
Season 43, episode 12, near the end of the episode.
15:35 lmao
Gabby betraying Christian
The biggest betrayal in survivor history was giving Jeff the keys to the show 😬
Title should be "biggest flips" instead of "biggest betrayals", really.

Ciera voting out her own mother?
Cagayan is so great
