How could this new timeline play out if War Of The Worlds happened In the MCU timeline? Welcome back to another MULTI-VERSE episode! Where I take two franchises and mash them up to see what would have happened. After seeing this long-requested movie mashup I thought why not try it!
"War of the Worlds is a 2005 American science fiction action film[2] directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Josh Friedman and David Koepp, based on the 1898 novel by H. G. Wells. It stars Tom Cruise with Dakota Fanning, Justin Chatwin, Miranda Otto, and Tim Robbins in supporting roles, with narration by Morgan Freeman. The film follows an American dock worker who is forced to look after his children, from whom he lives separately, as he struggles to protect them and reunite them with their mother when extraterrestrials invade the Earth and devastate cities with giant war machines.
The film was shot in 73 days, using five different sound stages as well as locations in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. The film was surrounded by a secrecy campaign so few details would be leaked before its release. Tie-in promotions were made with several companies, including Hitachi.
War of the Worlds was released in North America on June 29, 2005 and in United Kingdom on July 1, 2005. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, with many praising the performances (particularly those of Cruise and Fanning), Spielberg's direction, screenplay, action sequences, sound design, and visual effects, though the ending was criticised. It grossed over $603 million worldwide, making it the fourth most successful film of 2005. The film earned three Academy Awards nominations for Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Sound Editing, losing all three awards to King Kong."

Hey Max, did you know that Marvel Comics had published comic books about H.G. Wells' War Of The Worlds before? Back in the early 1970s, there was a story called Killraven that showed an alternate future timeline in which the Martians had attacked and invaded Earth again in the year 2001, exactly 100 years later, and this time, they were now immune to the bacteria and the germs of the planet just like humans are.
The second War Of The Worlds had the Martians succeed in conquering the entire world, and predominantly enslaving the human race. They had destroyed most of the surface of the globe, and exterminated the majority of the human species. But in the year 2018, almost 20 years after the Martians had taken over all nations using their advanced, alien, ancient Martian technology, and weaponry, in just 24 hours, followed by five years of resistance from the United States Armed Forces, until they finally surrendered, an 18-year-old boy code-named Killraven, had emerged from being a slave and a gladiator for the Martians under the control of human scientists who betrayed their own kind in order to become willing human servants for their Martian masters in exchange for benefits, perks, and privileges that other resistant human slaves would never, ever get.
This young man, who was born in the year 2000, a year before the Second Human/Martian War had begun, was deliberately raised by the Martians who had taken over the ruins of the former U.S.A. to be a trained assassin and warrior-slave, fighting against other humans in an arena for the amusement of the Martians, whose system of government was very similar to the ancient Imperial Empire of Rome. He was secretly mutated into a superhuman being by the human scientist who was his handler, and secretly implanted with an advanced cybernetic brain implant in addition to having his genetic structure artificially altered.
The scientist had secretly done this as a way for the human race to get revenge on the Martians. He gave Killraven the superhuman mental power to telepathically control the minds of Martians and the cybernetic implant gave Killraven all of the vast knowledge of human art, Earth history and human sciences that had ever existed before the destruction of the Planet Earth in the year 2001. With this psychic power and with these abilities, Killraven used his genius in military strategy, and his mastery of swordsmanship using a saber-like Martian blade composed of alien materials that made it able to cut through Martian "Tri-Pod" space ships, to become the founder and leader of a human resistance movement called the Freemen. With this army of defiant human freedom fighters, rebels, and revolutionaries, Killraven opposed the Martian conquerors and vowed to become a space pirate, attacking their armada, taking over their mother ship and destroying their Imperial Galactic Empire on the Planet Mars.
It was a very good science-fiction story that made a combination of the sci-fi novel and the Marvel Comics Universe with a continuation story/sequel/spin-off. Killraven is very similar to Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter, Warlord Of Mars. This comic book adaptation started in the Marvel Comics anthology book Amazing Adventures, Vol. 1, # 18 from 1973. That was the first appearance and origin of the War Of The Worlds in Marvel Comics and the first appearance of Killraven.

This actually happened in the Guardians of the Galaxy comics , pretty much all the heroes were killed. Tony Stark shot all his armour into deep space so they couldn't be used by his enemies, Spider-man got killed and his blood was drained by martian scientists to create ripjak, only a few survived I think. Wonderman and Shamrock being two of them .

For the amazing Spider-Man in the Snyderverse I imagine the scene with peters dad would take place in the amazing Spider-Man 2, and after the battle with rhino Bruce recruits Peter for the justice league, and peters dad would help cyborgs dad in this story and help with the expand of the justice league by the end of the film.
As for the sonic in the MCU story, it would be where sonic has lived in hiding in New York for sometime now, being inspired by Spider-Man (since it takes place two weeks after homecoming) to help people across the city. J jonah Jameson would be on to sonic calling him the blue blurr assuming he’s an accomplice of Spider-Man. After the power outage caused by sonic, the government has tony stark work with his old college roommate Dr robotnik to find the source of the outage. Sonic then teams up with Spider-Man to escape from robotnik and tony sees robotniks plans to use sonics powers to take over the world. So he teams up with sonic and Spider-Man to stop robotnik and they send him to the mushroom planet. Tony then covers up sonics existence and Peter and aunt may allow sonic to live with them. Tony then says when the time comes he will introduce sonic and Spider-Man to the avengers.

What If... Anakin Skywalker showed up at the temple of the Sith in the fight against Palpatine during the Battle of Exegol in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker?
Below is to give you an idea how to make this Star Wars What If... fanfiction:
The first part of the fanfiction would be like the movie:
The Resistance arrived on Exegol where they fought a massive armada of Star Destroyers like in the movie. Rey entered the Sith Citadel and found Darth Sidious in the throne room attached to a cybernetic spine, unable to walk. Palpatine tried to manipulate Rey by offering her the opportunity to kill him and in return she becomes the new Empress of the Final Order. Rey refused and prepared to fight the newly resurrected Darth Sidious. Meanwhile, a redeemed Ben Solo (formerly known as Kylo Ren) stormed the temple and killed the Sith forces. As he arrived at the throne room, Palpatine lifted Rey and Ben up from the ground using the force and drained them from their energy to restore himself and flinged Ben to a nearby crevice using the force after he saw him of no further use.
This is where the change happens:
Palpatine released himself from the machine and dropped the weakened Rey on the ground. He shot an immense amount of force lightning into the atmosphere of Exegol, thereby disabling every Resistance ship for the time being. Rey used the remainder of her strength to get back up on her feet and fight Palpatine once more but Darth Sidious used his full power and mortally wounded Rey with his electrokinesis/force lightning, scarring her face. Rey fell unconscious on the ground and started bleeding to death. Just as Palpatine thought that he was standing victorious over the two fallen Resistance fighters, Rey's lightsaber started elevating from the ground and flew towards the grasp of an unknown individual. Palpatine did not recognize who the mysterious individual was but was soon horrified as he saw the face of Anakin Skywalker standing infront of him, emerging from the darkness. Beside him on his left side, he also sees the faces of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Master Yoda, Mace Windu, Luminara Unduli and Qui-Gon Jinn, Aayla Secura, Knight Kanan Jarrus, Adi Gallia and last but not least, Anakin's wife, Padme Amidala on his right side who all held each other's hands in the honor and support of Anakin Skywalker. Both Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi put and held the palm of their hands on Anakin's shoulders from their two respective sides. Palpatine's eyes started glowing dark red from gold yellow as his face was getting filled with pure rage and attempted to strike Anakin with his force lightning. Before his force lightning could reach Anakin, Anakin activated Rey's lightsaber and started absorbing Palpatine's force lightning. Seeing that his powers were having no effect on Anakin, Palpatine tried increasing the intensity and power of his force lightning. Anakin summoned Ben's lightsaber and activated it too. He clashed Ben's and Rey's lightsaber together in a criss cross like manner. With the power of the two lightsabers combined, Darth Sidious was no match for Anakin. His frail body was unable to take the immense strain of his own lightning being used against him. Darth Sidious eventually screamed in horror and anguish as he was quickly disintegrated by his own lightning in a massive explosion that decimated the entire citadel, Sidious, and all of the Sith forces under him. The Final Order's armada on Exegol and across the Galaxy fell down on the planets' surfaces after an uprising occured as Palpatine and the Sith were no more. After the Sith Temple collapsed, Obi Wan Kenobi, Qui Gon Jinn, Master Joda, Mace Windu, Ahsoka Tano, and his wife, Padme Amidala nodded and blinked at Anakin with a smile before they all faded into nothingness. Ben Solo who had survived the earlier ordeal with Sidious, climbed up the cliff from the abyss and saw Anakin walking towards Rey. Anakin reached next to the deceased Rey and let go of his 2 lightsabers. He dropped down on his knees and started embracing Rey and stroking her hair. Anakin put the palm of his hand on Rey's forehead and closed his eyes before he also disappeared. Ben Solo ran towards Rey, mourned her and cradled her in his arms. He gave her a kiss on her lips and was surprised to see Rey opening her eyes once again and waking up, alive and well. She embraced Ben Solo and kissed him on his lips before the two make out. The Resistance and the entire Galaxy celebrated their victory and the downfall of The Final Order. After a duration of months, Rey and Ben Solo got married on Naboo, the same planet where Anakin and Padme once had their wedding. Afterwards, Ben Solo, Rey and BB-8 travel to Tattooine with the Millenium Falcon where it is discovered that Ben and Rey had a child. They stood at the old homestead that was once the home of Luke Skywalker where Ben Solo and Rey bury both Luke and Leia's lightsabers into the sand using the Force. The married couple stared into the sunset. Ben happily saw his wife Rey holding their son in her hands and asked her what they should name their baby boy. Rey sees the spirits of both Luke and Leia watching them in the distance and confidentially replies, saying "Adam Skywalker" and that would be, "What If... Anakin Skywalker showed up in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker?"

Cemetery Wind and Lockdown wouldn’t stand a chance, and the Avengers received Optimus’ distress message, then initiated a search and rescue mission for Optimus and the Autobots, and they were able to save Ratchet, Leadfoot, Dino, and Sideswipe.
And with the help of Black Panther, the Avengers used Wakanda as a safe refuge for the Autobots.
