Thank you, teacher. I really want to learn how to play, so I was looking for it on TH-cam because I was interested. Now I found it. Thank you, teacher.
I have been looking for a piano funk tutorial and this one is the simplest and probably the best funk groove tutorials in youtube. Very informative, especially for a beginner like me.. Thank you for this.
Thawada Ahch I'm not the only one that felt I could quit understand what's up with this technique but you solved it. Your way is the best to apply in any situation with chord progressions or one chord vamps....
Wow, I was looking a midi tutorial on how to program clav riffs, but this is so informative and the theory has my head spinning with possibilities , you killed it man
Thanks that’s very generous and helpful. Having been in music school in the 80s, as a bassist/guitarist, I learned all the theory and good stuff, but starting out again on keyboard technique is what I seek 🎶 (hmm)… and this is excellent! I subscribed. You’re very cool! Yep!!!😃🎶🎶🎶
Finally, a good tutorial! I salute you sir, for your natural pedagogical talent and a fun series of rhythmic building blocks that you have presented in this excellent video
Can't thank you enough. I'm a very mediocre keyboard player. Always loved the clav combing but couldn't figure out how to nail it and you explained it so easily. wow.. helped me a lot.. thanks again.. SUBSCRIBED 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Mike, Thank you very much for this great tutorial. I play mostly funk bass but I'm re-exploring my keyboard roots now through lens of funk. This is a great video to help make that transition. I'm definitely subscribing! :) J.
Great stuff, you've got a decent talent for teaching too. The banjo roll tip is excellent. I mean the string bands would basically need to imply their beats with that syncopated roll, speed it up on the 3rd so you can tap a foot. Got me confused as to whether I want to listen to Stevie Wonder or frickin' Stanley Brothers m8.
I'd love to see you jammin' with the rest of the band, that must sound great. Kinda Pseudo Funk/Reggae would bring tears to the eyes of Stevie Wonder and Bob Marley. The Marley brothers should sign you up bro!
my problem is not the chords but, I forget quickly, tunes, melodies, so I see my fingers and my hands stuck on the keyboard without being able to play any music! finally thank you for sharing from Algeria :)
Muito Top essas dicas! Pena que não consigo entender nada em Inglês, mas vou voltar o vídeo quantas vezes for preciso pra aprender esse swing. Parabéns pela iniciativa. Quero aprender demais.
