    1. bú shì dōng xi
    不是东西 - You're a jerk!
    (You should say “老师是活生生的人” instead. - Teacher, you're a live human being.)
    2. sòng zhōng
    送钟
    To send someone a clock
    (Send other gifts to your teacher instead, like cup, pen)

    To beg (for food or money)
    (Should say "你要尝一尝吗" instead in the video. - Do you want to have a taste?)

    To fire sb
    (Avoid saying this in working time or business - nobody wants to get fired.)

    To live off a woman
    (Should say 吃软一点儿的米饭 - eat softer rice)

    Nothing remains the same.
    (Say 女大十八变,越变越好看 instead - You becomes more and more beautiful.)

    You'll have to take the consequences.

      @@ellyana2157 避免在不合适的情况下说炒鱿鱼和吃软饭就行。
      绿帽子在中国也有人卖的,比如小孩儿和青少年等未成年的帽子可能有绿色的。因为我们一般不会笑话未成年戴绿帽子,他们都没有谈恋爱或者结婚。

      not 六个年, you can say 六年了 or 六个年头了, and put 了 to the end of sentence.

    东西 means stuff, thing but you put 不是 before 东西 into 不是东西, the meaning changes.

    Hi sir,. Too bad I never learn chinese culture before. I went to Guang Zhou and have a beautiful watch to my senior Chinese colleague who an old Chinese chap. He is so kind and helpful which is why I gave him that nice clock. Now I feel bad. Lol

      Giving someone a watch sounds great. Watch in Mandarin is 表(biǎo) not 钟(zhōng). 😊
