    ABOUT US: We're Andy and Trai, a gay couple living in Mexico with our rescue jackhuahua, Pattie. After meeting in San Francisco and later moving to Chicago, we decided to quit our jobs in 2021, sell everything, and become two gay expats. Since then, we've been traveling the world and documenting our adventures on TH-cam and our travel blog. Our current home base is Tulum, Mexico-it's where we got married and decided to build a house. Subscribe for the next chapter in our story and our experience moving to Mexico. We hope our adventures inspire your travels and show you what places are really like if you are thinking about living, working, or retiring abroad.

      It’s amazing the difference of coming at the end of rainy season versus dry!

    We just stumbled across your channel and subbed! Thanks so much for all of this wonderful information-we were actually married in Mexico and have spent a lot of time there, but never in Oaxaca! This was a great video!

    Thank you for this informative video! Love hearing that you will be offering additional information about possible topics about purchasing property in these amazing locations. While I love the idea of retiring in Puerto Vallarta (many years before I can even consider), it has become over saturated and very expensive to acquire properties. Hoping places like Huatulco can follow PVR's model for future expat retirees! Please keep the amazing content coming! Best from Houston, TX 😀

    • @TwoGayExpats
      @TwoGayExpats  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely! And we couldn’t agree more! PVR was too crazy expensive for us and have found many people are choosing Playa del Carmen and Tulum (us!) as an alternative option! Huatulco is definitely affordable at the moment! And Mexico is a great place to retire!! ❤️

    Hi,great video, can you tell me,how much is lobster,lunch,and red snapper

    • @TwoGayExpats
      @TwoGayExpats  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! We forget the prices of the lobster and the snapper, but we also caught a snapper on our tour, so it would’ve been much less than the menu price. All of the menu prices were extremely reasonable tho!!

    Planning on going to Huatulco soon what month did you guys go?

    • @TwoGayExpats
      @TwoGayExpats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The driest months are November to April, but we’ve enjoyed September-December as well as April-May although there could be a daily afternoon/evening shower these months. We have not been in July-August.

    How hot is it in July/august?

    • @TwoGayExpats
      @TwoGayExpats  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely more humid and it's rainy season as well. Best times to visit are November through April for sure when it's sunny, dry, and less humid!

    Hi guys thanks for videos - could you do this trip as day trip from Zipolite? And do you have the contact details for the father and son?

    • @TwoGayExpats
      @TwoGayExpats  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you certainly can just tell them after booking that you will meet at the boat. That's what we did as we also did a day trip from Zipolite. It's your own captain so you can go with the flow or specify the bays you prefer to see and how long to spend at each. Here's the link for the private boat tour: www.getyourguide.com/huatulco-l781/from-la-crucecita-private-huatulco-5-bays-boat-trip-t388150/?partner_id=D7RFP6I&placement=content-middle&cmp=huatulco
