Finally someone discussing the look of the light naked with the extension. Kind of makes the quick-release a joke since the bike looks silly with the light hanging way out.
I have the same bike and same handlebars and just installed the M.S. fairing. Did you know you can keep the visor on the bike by adding 1/4 spacers on top? I did and it worked barely touching the headlight and gives a clean look again behind the fairing. Thanks for the video it came in very handy during my installation process.
Hi Sir, I have same the bike and wanted to ask if you can share details of the drag bar you have? And also if you have any installation video for it. I was thinking to do the same upgrades you did. So, any details of the handle would be great! And thanks for this video.
I had the stock bars swapped out for Harley Street Slammer bars. I had the dealer install them but I do have a video talking about them. th-cam.com/video/fToMXnGIB9U/w-d-xo.html
So you’re 6’ tall with the 13” screen.. what seat do you have? I’m 6’1” on a lapera bare bones.. if 13” works for you in a thick seat, it’d prob work for me on my thin one
I have a 2020 Lowrider with stock handlebars and Harley Windsplitter windshield. Appreciate the video. Are there risers on your bars? Also does Memphis Shades have a guide for windshield height? Turns out my Harley windshield is too short. Buffeting starts around 50 mph and goes on from there. Thanks
I have the Harley Street Slammer bars on here. The bar is one piece with 7" integrated risers. Memphis Shades does have some guides to measuring your windshield height. I did notice some buffeting at times depending on the speed even after going with recommended height. Most of the turbulence seems to be coming from the tank area up into my face.
Check out Russ Wernimont fairings FXR (FXRT) fairings. More expensive and the dealer can match to your bike and install for you. Its a bigger fairing and can fit speakers in. When I get mine I will probably have my dealer install for me.
Looking into a Low Rider and noticed we live in the same area hence the Superstitions. What dealer did you go through and what was the OTD price if you dont mind me asking.
The Harley quarter fairing was good for keeping wind off my chest and shoulders, but after a few rides I decided that I wanted something that could also cut some wind from my face too. I did like the Harley fairing better than the Harley windshields and thought it looked better than the rest. This Memphis Shades seems to be the best of both as far as wind protection and the mounting system is more secure. I'm not a fan of needing to relocate the headlight though.
I took this out on a longer ride today and the buffeting is manageable but a little annoying. I do plan to pick up a shorter windshield soon. I'll update after I try it out.
Glad to see you went For the Memphis shades fairing! It really looks great!! 😉👍 🏴
Thanks, it's awesome! Really happy with this one! 😃

Thanks for the walk through, it was very helpful to see this one compared to the HD Windsplitter’s .
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for this information! I have the same bike so I would like to actually keep that visor.
Super helpful thanks for the walk though on installation
Will those fit on any Harley? Think it will look awesome on my 02 Softail

Wow, those are some nice fairings 😀
@@KSSTUDIOS expensive too. They actually have to prepare and paint them. Matt Laidlaw does videos on bike builds with it. I so want one.
Just wondering where you got the rider bell bracket, that was on your 48. I've been looking for a while, but can't find one.
It's a guardian bell hanger that I picked up from Amazon. amzn.to/2VmRL3J
Are you getting any wind turbulence from around the gas tank sides. That is where I get a lot of turbulence.
Yes, that's where most of it was coming from.
Looking into a Low Rider and noticed we live in the same area hence the Superstitions. What dealer did you go through and what was the OTD price if you dont mind me asking.
Superstition HD. I got the low rider for about $14K
@@KSSTUDIOS cool man, thanks for your reply
I'd say use the fairing on your way to Sturgis but take it off when you get there.
Can i use the same mounting kit for a fxrls?
What did you not like about the Harley quarter ferring?

What saddlebags are you running?
The bags are from Viking Bags. They are the Lamellar Large Leather Covered Non-Shock Cutout Hard Saddlebags.
Now you can get a 2wheelaudio system for it
T A man. That"s what i"m looking for......
I'm really liking these bags! Great quality for the price.
Will you install the Memphis hand shields
No plans for the hand guards at this time. I'll see how it goes after a few longer rides😀
I have this faring on my 2020 low rider s.
I have the 15", 13", 11" and 9" windshield...
I have buffeting with all but the 9".
I took this out on a longer ride today and the buffeting is manageable but a little annoying. I do plan to pick up a shorter windshield soon. I'll update after I try it out.
beisdj0 I just ordered the vented 9” for my 2020 FXLRS. Curious... is your 9” vented and how tall are you?
What kind of headlight is that?
It's the stock Harley headlight, just pushed forward on an extension bracket.
@@KSSTUDIOS Hmmm, my headlight doesn’t look like that.
WHATS IN THE BOX!
Now paint the faring the same color of your bike and it will look awesome!!
Personally I think it looks much sexier without the fairing -
I agree. If I wasn't looking for wind resistance I definitely would have left the stock headlight visor on there.
