    I just bought a new outlaw 195 in NC, I’ve been wanting to get one for sometime now and was able to finally get one on sale!

      Awesome! That's a great welder, you're going to love it. I'm using mine right actually! Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks for your videos, I just picked a new outlaw. I’m going tomorrow to get oil, spark plug, fuel filter, hour meter and new sae bolts for wheel kit mount. So far, impressed with quality of this machine.

      It's a heavy beast isn't it? Definitely run it only about an hour, then drain the oil again to flush out any remaining metal pieces from milling. Enjoy!

      Yes sir it’s a beast for sure, with wheel kit it’s balanced very well, easy to move around.

      You're right. For such a big heavy machine, they got the wheel kit balanced just right and easy to move. I took off my wheel kit and mounted the Outlaw in my truck. I think the wheel kit alone added 50 pounds.

      Yes sir, shocked to see how heavy each wheel was. Did you keep the Dinse connectors or use adapters? What do you recommend on lead lengths? I’m looking at getting 75’ or 100’ of #2 and doing 30G/45L (75’) or 40G/60L (100’).

      I can usually park close to where I'm working, so I put 20ft on ground, and 30ft on work end. And I also have two 50ft leads with male and female ends so I can add them in if I need them. I use #1 Flex-A-Prene cable. It's nice cable, not too expensive, and still stays very flexible even when it's 16 degrees outside like last week.

    Love the longer video!

      Oh Lordy, I really worked hard to make it shorter. I thought it was going to long. The second half (when I'm sitting in the chair) was totally unscripted and just rambling about things I have been thinking about including. In it's original form, it was 20 minutes! When I was editing, I was thinking everyone was going to hate a 30 minute video. But there was a lot to cover. Thanks for watching and commenting, as usual. I can always count on you for a comment.

      That's great!!! Pay close attention to what I said about the first time you put oil in it. Run it a little over 3 hours, then drain the oil again. It's to flush out all the milling junk they didn't get cleaned out. Look at what comes out, you will be surprised. Good luck with it. Come back and leave a comment and let us know what you think of it.

      @@AllStarWeldingSC thanks for the video, very informative. What brand of oil do you use synthetic or regular oil.

      I had a small engine mechanic recommend STP Premium Small Engine 4 Cycle Oil SAE 10W-30 Synthetic Blend. He said because of the temperature, and the high revolution of small engines, it's best to use an oil designed for it

    I mounted mine on 3" square tubing that gives it enough clearance to slide a pan underneath for oil changes.

      I might have to give that a try! That's a great idea.

    Hi, my outlaw isn't idling down after start up, Any idea why?

    • @AllStarWeldingSC
      @AllStarWeldingSC  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      My first thought was that the "Welding Power" is flipped to ON, in which case it won't idle down. Is yours the new model with the O2 sensor, or the first generation?

    • @williamalbano9576
      @williamalbano9576 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah I just bought it a week ago. Brand new. First start up it idled up for a few seconds and stayed at low idle, I did that for about 10 15 minutes. Shut it off and started it back up 10 minutes later and was staying high idle. Weld switch was off.

      @AllStarWeldingSC  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Dang.... Well, I know that when you first crank it, it will go high, then back down after maybe 30 seconds. I will take a look at mine tomorrow and see if I can come up with an idea. Make sure all the linkages and springs are all in place. Take some pictures of the areas and email them to me. Go to the front page of my channel and slide over to the "Community” tab. My email is listed there

    Use a ball valve to drain the oil

      @ I have the 220 and the 205 welders. They run great for Home stuff. I was really curious if you have them and if you could run the generator to power those machines, I recently used a generator from my welders and it didn’t work out. I was curious if that generator can run those machines, without the machines faulting

    • @AllStarWeldingSC
      @AllStarWeldingSC  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don't know about those particular welders. I've used my Outlaw to power my Primeweld MTS200 and the Primeweld 160Ts. But I think both were on 110v. And of course, the Titanium with no trouble.

      Not just the critters.... But a wasp nest in the air cleaner can have devastating effects

    • @AllStarWeldingSC
      @AllStarWeldingSC  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Not to mention, mice and wasps can build a nest in the muffler which can start a fire!
