Phenomenal review. I'd argue this is even better than the work you did during your Pocketnow days. I also really appreciate how natural and well done you intro is (VO in to the pleasantly brief Mr. Mobile "splash" clip).
Bought it. Best money I ever spent. I switched from an Iphone 5c running their latest software, and wow.... This OP3 is so much better than my Iphone. I did A LOT of research and couldn't find anything this good for even close to the same price. BEST PHONE EVER MADE when you include the price-point, features, style, and OS. LOVE MY OP3!!!!

1080p is fine, but when you go 2k you can never go back simple because of the size of things on screen. in 1080p everything seems kinda unecessary big, in a 2k display things are smaler and everithing looks better because of this. But yeah 1080p is fine, i dont think its a negative point in this phone.

Screen resolution in Android does not dictate how much information is shown on the screen. You can use the "adb wm density" command to adjust the size things are rendered at. Decrease the density number and more stuff will be shown on the screen.

I'll admit I don't have much of an ear for it. I can tell the difference between crappy buds and awesome headphones (the Bose QC35s I just bought are INTENSE) but quality from phone to phone is usually lost on me.

5:00 Michael is probably a bit too easy on the 1+3, as I've seen many reviews pointing out that the 1+3 performs averagely in low light conditions and its photos have too much noise, which I can also see on sample photos in this video :) BTW, great to see you again Captain :)

How is the battery life ?
Its enough.... not amazing, but gets me through most days, and I am a super user... always on FB and TH-cam. It's good.

plus the dash charge feature. Does it work well? 30 min from 0 to 60% +/-
It works. For me it was even 65% in 30 min. And the phone didn't heat up like they promised.

MrMobile Yeah, I think its subjective. My experience is between the moto x play and my moto x style (pure in the us).

You can change the DPI settings. If it is not in the settings, you can install an app. It will probably require a root though.
Or manually in build.prop, root req.
