Even that the Canal tour is a little touristy, I can recommend it. The guide tells a lot of things about the buildings in CPH. It is fairly cheap, 50 DDK (€ 7) for an hour. The boat ride is very calming, a good way to "wind down".
If summertime you can take both bikes and Metro (and bus for that matter) to Amager Strand, a long sand beach facing Øresund. At the very end of the beach you will find "Den blå planet" (The blue planet), The largest aquarium in Northern Europe. 10 minutes walk from Den blå planet, the entrance to the airport are. Truly looked like you had a good time. You look good in Copenhagen and judging from your smiles, a bit of Copenhagen´s soul now are travelling with you.
wow I need to remember this for next time we visit. We honestly loved it so much, fell in love with the city and will definitely be coming back to visit. thank you so much for sharing the recommendations
Next time you are in Copenhagen and you plan to go to Reffen then make sure you check out CopenHill which is in short biking distance from Reffen. It's a waste facility plant with a year-round ski slope on the roof. It's free to visit, and it's just such a special building with great views. My recommendation is to take the elevator up (then you see the inside of the building) and then walk down.
Hi guys. The apartments you talked about living in. 9:50 which are being built, will be the most expensive apartments in Copenhagen when they are finished. 😄
Correction. I just saw that there are also apartments of 70m2 and 100m2 for 8 and 9 million Danish kroner. You can also rent apartments for DKK 30,000 - 35,000 per month for 130 m2
wow! expensive, but honestly not as expensive as I thought they would have been. maybe im used to hearing all the London prices for apartments! they are the dream. we would love to have one there
next time go to sankt peder ind hellerup, and get famous smørrebrød (open face sandwich) it is a pub kind of vibe, and real danish smørrebrød with a classic carlsberg, and then you can go the other theme park, its called Bakken, 30-45 min train ride and 10 mins walk from the station, or can get take a horse wagon :P
oh wow! thank you so much for the recommendation. we will defo be going back to Copenhagen at some point so we will hopefully have time to check this out
Must be wonderful being so cheerful all the time … I hope it’s all real and no acting … under all circumstances happy for you that you both enjoyed København!?!
@@SPARKESLIFE Good for you … and it only goes to show that we are all different … for me (nowadays) travelling the world, packing, planning, time-zones, etc., would also be kinda stressful. So great it’s not for you … enjoy it, while it lasts❣️
@@SPARKESLIFE Good for you and I’m really happy that you like all parts of travelling. Not trying to be dramatic or negative, but no one knows what the future brings, so - like you - being in the moment (in the now) and making the most of it, having fun, is the right thing to do - enjoy 🤗
what a lovely couple you two are... loved you view on our capital.. you should REALLY comeback in the summer time or early autumm.. anyway ... just watched your freekicks on your insta... are you not playing anymore ... followed the trail from Maidenhead to Braintree,, couldn't find any stats on you in both clubs........ ohh well i guess i have to find you somewhere in Football manager then 🙂
Thank you so much for the kind words 😊 Yeah we will definitely be back in Copenhagen at some point and plan to go back when it's warmer for sure. haha yeah ill be on football manager for the past 16 years or so. Im not playing anymore no for various reasons. Life has changed massively, but I don't regret it at all
The oldest fair BAKKEN in Klampenborg DYREHAVE visit Frederiksborg Kronborg Egeskov castles Roskilde Cathedral 20 min . traintrip must visit in a summertime very short way from Cph . YOU can bike to Bakke n only 😇☀☀☀☀🌡 30 min. from Cph. along the nice coast / beach . It will be wery beautyfull . YOU need at least 3 days !!!!! to do it !!!
@@SPARKESLIFE It took place during a visit from Zar, Peter the Great, and I think they used a carriage, which may have been turned round while they were out on the platform.
I think it was a Dutch Architect that made this construction. He made a similar spiral in the Border Fortress to Norway, outside Göteborg, which was Danish area till an unfortunate war.
@@SPARKESLIFE Yes, you definitely should try a Gasoline Grill burger - it's absolutely one of the best in Cph. They have a restaurant in the airport as well so that's also an option when you head home. Great video BTW :-)

You guys are terrific together…I loved this video and have earmarked many of your recommendations for my upcoming travel to Copenhagen ❤
thank you! yeah you'll have a blast. its one of my favourite cities in the world!
A day that ends with you running late to the airport is a win. Great vid you looked like you had tons of fun.
haha for sure! might be another weekend break where we will be doing the same very soon
I really enjoyed both videos.
There is no river in Copenhagen. You were looking across the harbour. Sea water.
Thanks for the info!

10/10❤ love it. ❤😊
The reason for the missing stairs in the round tower (Rundetårn) is because the king of the time did not wanna walk but ride his horse up.
We had no idea! Thats such a cool fact, but also lazy from the king haha

The Roundtower (Rundetårn) is made as it is so that the king of Denmark could drive all the way to the top of the tower.
no way?! Thats so cool, but also very lazy haha
Well.. Ride his horse, not drive, but I guess equally lazy :)

yeah I found that out shortly after getting back. what a crazy fact haha, also lazy too!
You should have watching in the big holes in the inner wall ,as you can look all the way down
damn it!
@@SPARKESLIFE Those holes are toilets ;)
And there is a caretakers apartment on the top of the Rundetårn, below the platform. I know because my old firm delivered a kitchen for this!
must do!
Nice vid, but what about the Gass Tank burger? We all get hungry, but no show of burger and if it was good? Did u not go there?
No we decided to head to the harbour and eat there instead. We do wish we had the burger, however, there’s always next time 👀

no way really?!?! I had no idea there was a fine for holding your phone while biking! good job we didn't get caught
You need to try som good danish food. Not all these social media spots. There's alot old resturant in the city making traditional danish food.
what's the restaurant called?
