Clyde, Im loving the new video format! I've never held an AP so I'll have to leave this topic alone. I don't ever see AP in my radar either. 30k is a lot for the basic entry level, especially when its just steel. If I had that kind of disposable money I would probably spend an extra 10k and get a day date.
Great video and I like your channel! I definitely agree with this, I think one of the reasons Rolex is known as a great watch is because Rolex is known as a very marketable brand, whereas AP watches aren't marketed to the public as often. Although AP is the better watch, I love how a datejust looks on my wrist lol. I also think that both Rolex and AP are great investments and its hard to choose one over the other. AP is more valuable since its starting price point is higher and it's a rare watch, but Rolex is very marketable and more affordable for certain people, so that can make it a great investment. You can sell a 30 year old date just and still get a decent price for it. Looking forward to more videos!
