Holy shit! As a loyal Sabrewulf user in KI games, I'm absolutely astonished! I was reading about the choir in here, but I wasn't prepared! I shed some very manly tears at this
Me fascina !!!! Me emociona tanto! ( Sería épico escuchar un arreglo de actraiser.... Del primer juego, primer nivel llamado Filmore🤗👏👏👏🤗)
Ragna The Doomed Edge I've never really thought about it like that before, but now that I think about it, it really does have final boss battle potential. This is especially true with the addition of the choir at the end.
I love that you produce such high quality versions of peoples video game songs that TH-cam gives them content IDs. I'd take that as a compliment. Once again, an excellent song from a game I loved to play.
I was searching for this song, hoping Nintendo made a good orchestal version, and found this one, made by someone else, and also being the best I've heard so far. Just listening this made me really happy, and seeing you also have more songs of Zelda, Chrono Trigger and Castleania made it even better. Sr. thank you so much for being you.
Thank you! I really liked Rare's official version in Killer Cuts, but I thought it might be worth it to make my own version anyway. I'm glad you like it!
I'm blown away. in the brief time I've looked at your work I've gone from terranigma and castlevania to killer instinct and final fantasy. not only are you redoing songs from some of the finest games ever made, you're doing so very, very well. I take my hat off to you.
yiggdrasill I'm glad you like the selection of games I'm covering! It's hard for me to decide whether I should be covering more games or just focusing on the ones I've started. Anyway, there's a lot more to come in the future. :)
the remastered version of tooth and claw in KI3 (the one that plays when you're idle on wulf's stage)was good. but this...this, my friend is just beyond words. masterpiece, well done, bravo!! ez subscribe^^
After hearing Dance of Illusions and this, I fell in love with your amazing work, man. I really liked the addition of choirs at one point. I'm really looking forward to more of your stuff. Keep up the good work!
***** Thanks so much for the comment! :) I'm glad you stuck around for the part with choir. I was a little concerned that no one would end up hearing it because it's so close to the end and most people only listen to the first half. Anyway, I have a few more KI remakes in the works and a ton of Castlevania stuff coming eventually.
Malcolm Robinson Music No problem, dude ^_^ You know, I'll be perfectly honest with you: I always listen to a tune from start to finish when I really like it. I was not expecting the choir to be honest since I got used of version without a bit of choir. This has been a first for me and had me a blast. I could listen to it over and over again, seriously. You rendition is by far my favorite one.
The choir is singing random Latin-like syllables. I programmed the syllable sequence to sound as natural as possible, but it doesn't have any actual meaning.
Holy moly, this is a killer remix. This channel is one of the best in terms of content and video setup that I've seen. Also, please consider doing an orchestral remix of Wicked Child (Castlevania NES). I think my brain would drown in dopamine if you did.
Monocle Enthusiast Thank you! I have a ton of Castlevania content planned, and Wicked Child is on the list, but I'm not sure when exactly it will happen.
+BashLiveCupcakes Thanks! It's a part of my childhood too. I used to play the arcade version of KI all the time and Sabrewulf's theme left a really big impression on me. I'm glad you liked listening to it as much as I liked making it. I'm also going to do the KI2 version eventually, but I don't think it will sound as impressive.
I'd honestly love to hear what you can do, even though I wasn't a fan of Sabrewulf's theme in KI2. But knowing your talent, you can probably make it sound godlike.
This makes me want to hop on KI on the Xbox 1 and try and get a long enough combo with Sabrewulf and add the beautiful masterpiece to it on the Ultra. It may be a bit tedious, because of a few computer problems, but I can get it done. Of course I will be more than happy to give credit to an absolutely badass content creator, you know from one to another.
Lord Bif Music Glad you liked it! VST's are all I've got, so I've put a lot of effort into learning how to use them. I still feel I have a lot more to learn though.
If I ever become a person of wealth and taste I'll commission a piece that manages to mate THIS EARGASM to Hiroyuki Sawano's GORGEOUS rendition of Kiryuin Satsuki's theme.
M. Robin Beanland, Could you have an orchestra play your song and record it for us? Please, I wouldn't want to die without seeing an orchestra playing that song.
Just right now found your channel Malcolm. Very impressive renditions! I was supposed to be coming up with some music myself right now but your channel ended up taking all my time for the evening! I really love your version of this classic theme. It's very loyal to the original but the difference in sound/instrument quality really manages to elevate it. Really love how fat the low end sounds. Those low string staccatos/spiccatos are spot on in the mix. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better you introduce the choirs. Just further punches in that grande gothic feel. Always a pleasure to find youtube rearrangers who can actually mix their stuff. Keep up the awesome work!
turtlesit Thanks so much! I really appreciate the comment. I wasn't sure people would even listen to this when I made it, but it's one of my favorite classic VGM tracks so I went ahead and made it anyway. Low end is always an issue for me when I'm mixing, so I'm glad it turned out okay this time. The low strings are a combination of Spitfire Albion's low strings patch, which has a really deep and fat sound, and the contrabass patch from Hollywood Strings, which adds some definition. Anyway, thanks again for listening and I'll do my best to keep making these consistently.
Malcolm Robinson Music For sure! The tune sounds just lovely and is propably my favourite version of the theme so far. This specific tune is one of those that I love so much that I keep searching for fan remakes of it every few months or so. And yes, I love me some Spitfire! Again, top notch stuff. Subbed!
So, this is a REALLY good remix. But then goes the step further of adding the choir at then end to add a final bit of flair to top everything of and just adds a cherry to the top of this song.
I'm glad you liked it. I already slowed it down a little because the original track was quite fast. It's a delicate balance though because if it's too fast, it doesn't sound realistic, but if I slow a track down too much, I get complaints about it not having the same intensity as the original. As for the length, I probably should have included a fourth loop to make it a little longer and extend the choir part. Anyway, I appreciate your feedback.
If I ever become a dictator of a small country I swear to god this would be my national anthem.
Do you need a corrupt lieutenant?!
I need that too
Not a dictator a liberator who leads his people to the stars.
Yaz
A Good Dictator can do that too
🤣 🤣
Killer instinct 1 and 2 had the most insane music of any video game ever. each one is art itself
"Alright, alright! This is good..."

"THIS IS GOOD!!!"
Yeah the Choir REALLY sells it.
😆🤣
How dare TH-cam not recommend this until now
"TOOTH AND CLAW" my favorite song of iKiller Instinct , I have heard many versions but I think this is the final , chorus sounds majestic !!!

YES!!!! YES!!!!!
Same, i need more time!
Agreed. I wish he would've included the rest but all the same, this shit is brilliant. I expect nothing less of Malcom.
A very Goldeneye 64 sounding song similar to Depot, while also reminding me of Castle Crush from DKC 2. Good job Rare!

IMPRESIONANTE, SIMPLEMENTE IMPRESIONANTE!!!!!

Such a Masterpiece, the chorus was impecable
It still blows my mind that something like this wasn't used in KI3

BEYOND PERFECTION!
this is simply superb and feels like what would result if Sabrewulf and Jon Talbain got together and had a fight!!
2 years later, Death Battle granted your wish. Not with this music, though.
This comment aged well. Lol
I've always felt like Sabrewulf's theme would make an awesome final boss theme. Now it sounds even more finalboss-like.

Great works - one of my favourite themes - brings back memories!
Me, listening to the first loop: This is so cool!
Music: Gets to the Choir part
Me: ULTRAAAAAAAA COMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thank you! That was my favorite part to make.
Malcolm Robinson Music i have a question do you use a program to get the choir to sing or you get an actual choir?
Every sound in this piece was done with virtual instruments, including the choir. The sample library I used for the choir is called Requiem Pro.
Sencillamente espectacular!!
