It's looking good Richard, I've got a plan for this year to make a reflection pool myself, using an old large shower tray, so no need for wood in the build, just a piece of black lining.

Well done Richard, i wish i had a garden like that, i live in an apartment in a historic harbour, so i have to go out to a park/forrest when a want to photograph birds, it's much easier to do it from out your home garden... 😄🍻

Looks great Rich, maybe you could fix a wee island in the middle with a perch on it, that way you'll have reflections on both sides? Just a thought :)

I have seen people use an old window which they painted black on the underside for the reflection pool. They use a strip or two of silicone as the wall.
It allows for much less water.

An inspiring video Richard. How do you decide which direction to point the reflection pool? It looked like this one was facing south.
