You're very welcome! If there's anything else you fancy learning let me know, I'm making a list for the next time I get to sit down and record something :)
Cheers! I love an acoustic version of a song, have you been enjoying the Speak Now TV? It's my fave Taylor Swift album and I think the rerecording is particularly well done
Amazing to see you play, it's the closest I have heard from the original! I'm a little but struggling to understand your mix between finger style and strumming pattern in the beginning of the song, do you have this detailed somewhere? Tried to slow the video down, but I'm unsure about what I hear / see 🤔 thanks for your videos!!!
I *think* what you would be aiming for is play the arpeggio then strum the chord at the end of each bar before the next arpeggio. Does that make sense? It's a funny thing but it'll feel more natural the more you do it. Do you have a Metronome to practice to? It might help to set a slow BPM and just get the picking done, loop it, and if you mess up just start over or slow it down a bit more. Or try just strumming the chords until you have the changes under your fingers then introduce the arpeggios maybe. Let me know if that helps or not! 🙂
Also, in case you've not seen it, have a run through of my other video that talks through the chords in case that helps a bit: th-cam.com/video/hsVc6qGuaoI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pZ1z4L1-F7AJHBw2
@@AndyPlayedGuitarthe part i’m confused on is at 1:14 it looks like a little more than just strumming the chord after the arpeggio? can you explain the pattern? great videos keep up the hard work!
_A_ tutorial is better than no tutorial for those who don't have perfect pitch, but you could really try to _tell out loud_ more what you're doing, it's not very easy to see, you know
thank you! I’ve been struggling to find a video that’s this helpful considering I play classical guitar usually.
Glad it was helpful!
This is very needed thaaanks
Excellent, thank you for commenting! :)
You are a genius!!!!! Thank you!!!

@@addisonworkman8694 I'll have a look this evening, leave it with me!
Great video. The first part of her song sounds like the finger picking intro to Stairway to Heaven...
You're right! Good spot!

Sorry about that, I'm still experimenting with the best way to film and present these lessons! How're you getting on with it?
he can sing too?!
I can sing, I just can't sing very well 😂
