DeAndre Stephenson Mercy(Angela) as many have concluded may have used a prototype or incomplete version of her nanobots or that Reyes' severe state after the explosion was too much for the device to fix. Landing him in a condition of constant regenerating and decaying cells. Which I at the very least assume Moria helped stabilize to a degree.

There was a Reaper/Mercy interaction that didn't actually exist that a lot of people thought was real that implied that Mercy was the one responsible for Reaper's current state. It's stuck with everyone and most people assumed Mercy actually did it.

Is it me or does she sound more American? I'm not from Ireland and I've never been there but I've heard accents from a few places in Ireland from meeting people and to me Moira sounds really American.
If they made a live action movie I could see her being played by Tilda Swinton.

No. Mercy did. Technically. We don't know exactly how but I suspect mercy tried to save reaper by pumping him full of her healing jooce and it turned him into what he is

AP Plays those were literally my exact thoughts when I first saw her. First Overwatch hero I'm not a fan of design wise
yeah it's a little all over the plave with lots of different shapes and colors. i like her sharp face, but it kinda gets lost in the rest of the design, doesn't usually happen with their other heroes

It more so seems that moira's trying to understand reaper's condition. It's hard to tell right now though whether the creation of his powers was a result of mercy's or moira's work.

lordson mondesir No questions at all. Genji was a Blackwatch agent because his skills where suited to covert operations. Blackwatch wasnt always evil it eventually progressed that way, Blackwatch did jobs that overwatch didnt wanted public but were for the greater good such as assassinations. Remember Blackwatch was under Overwatch and still had to listen the the Strike Commander which at the time was Soldier76 but 76 never overstepped because he trusted Reaper because Reaper was the Original Strike Commander, but I guess being replaced by 76 ate at Reapers ego or something and he slipped down the path he did. Genji and McCree left Blackwatch before Reapers full rebellion against 76, so they arent evil.

Her accent is very confusing. She absolutely has at least 3 separate accents in this clip. An American one, an English one, and an Irish one.
I hope this is on purpose and not just really messy voice acting. Could make sense if she was Irish born, studied in London, and then worked the rest her life in the US.
Nala Nkadi As an Irish person, I hear the Irish accent very clearly, perhaps some English but I can't pick out any American. She is most likely Irish though. Moira, witches, red hair etc.
As an Irish person, her accent is definitely Irish, it's just that there are a lot of different Irish accents. Her's is very much a "West Brit" accent, usually possessed by people from Dublin who are upper class, have aristocratic ancestry or who have spent a lot of time in Britain.
As a non-Irish Brit, this is definitely just Irish...

This confuses me. I thought the whole thing with Gabriel (Reaper) was that he was on the brink of death and Angela (Mercy) in an effort to save him tried using her abilities and somehow messed up so she was to blame for what happened and she "created" the Reaper??
Perhaps Moira did it without Gabriel's consent, he went to Mercy that fix it but she didn't understand Moiras work and made it worse? That's kinda clutching at straws though
