I believe you should read the daily newspapers to find out what is happening in St. Thomas. There is a big development proposed for the Rudolph Elder Park for $70M. Also, there is an article in the Jamaica Observer on January 19th stating that works to be done from the roundabout to Seaforth. The NWA is asking for patience because of the complexity of the works which include fiber optic lines, culverts, drainage, water lines, retaining walls, etc. These things are hard to achieve while the roads are still busy with traffic.
@CNJJamaica Thanks. I read the newspapers, listen to the radio news, listen to House of Representatives and Senate, read and listen to JIS news everyday. I am coming back home to live in St. Thomas so I make sure to keep abreast of the current events. I grew up in the Yallahs area and went to junior and secondary school there, so I know all the beaches there in Yallahs. I used to walk on the beach from behind Yallahs High to the Yallahs square when I was a young girl to go to the post office. The beaches in Yallahs were Baileys, Shellays, and Reeces where people used to go and swim and listen to music and dance. People from Kingston and all over used to come to Yallahs by bus to have fun. I believe that there was a fee even back then.
You all need to stop listen to these promises and focus more on the realities. Let the doings of these government agencies over time teach you what their intents and purposes are about. Much and most of the things promised for the road improvement sections are substandard, below expectations, unprofessionally done over and over and are used as it were to:WASH MONEY! It's called politics!
Don't you ever forget the falls and fountains! Ok? The word is love!
I will always show those
