Great to hear someone who seems like a genuine car guy talk from a position of authority in this industry. I'd say he's probably a tough but fair leader where you'd know where you stand with him. That's really the type of boss that you want.
Admire his honesty and enthusiasm! Glad that he understands that China doesn't need Ford any more. There are so many companies that haven't admitted it and struggle so much there.
He's a chip off the ol' block, just like his cousin over there at Callahan Auto in Sandusky. All joking aside, I really do like this guy. I missed out on buying wads of Ford stock back in 2009; I'm not going to miss what I believe is about to happen in the Blue Oval future.
Around 46 min: this is exactly why many people aren’t interested in EVs. Starts to feel like it’s not your car, you are being monitored, and being charged in perpetuity for every little feature!
Is it just me, or does Jim have hands the size of Andre the giant? That said great convo and can't wait for a Lighting once the price naturally comes down.
None of you people that are on this podcast understand that the only way to fix the problem Is to run the cars on hydrogen split from distilled water until you do that you're just going to keep making more pollution with your combustion engines

That was a very interesting interview. Alot of info about the future of car industry form a major insider.
Its time their stock gets to where it needs to be. Love Jim and his vision!
This was a great interview! Open and honest. I'm looking forward to Ford making a small EV.
Great episode!

Jim really gets it.
This was a fantastic discussion. Loved getting a glimpse into Jim's thought processes. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! He really seems like a down to earth cool guy!
Thank you Ford for leading the pack on adopting a charging standard!

Not a ford die hard, but they sure are keeping it interesting. (I do feel bad about the prices of the mustang though.)
I just see Chris Farley talking cars
I hate use-base-model because I have to think about if I should pay or just drive myself.

Not just you!
GM needs a guy like this....wake up Mary Barra....
Hello Johnny I love everything about your hat, is it possible to buy one exactly like that?
When are they going to start to pay their workers fairly?
No sooner than any other company
@@TheBobjah63 lol not if the UAW has anything to say about it. *facepalm*
They’re paid just fine.
I always forget this dude is related to the late Chris Farley. Hopefully he can figure out some of the quality issues that plagues Ford.
We make 40% margin on parts! This is why people go elsewhere for parts.
Uh, making a car that cost 300k that beats a GT3RS is easier than it seems.
Kinda annoying that two hosts keep interrupting each other
check out the Hybrid logging truck build by Edison Motors in B.C. Canada.
When is Ford going to stop leading the world in recalls?
Great more nickel and dime us consumers with more subscriptions.☹️

😂 lol
ICE is cleaner than lithium mining.
I'm good with hydrogen but I don't see how those high pressure tanks are gonna be safe for the general public.
You should really look up the amount of electricity wasted in making hydrogen instead of just putting that electricity into a car.
Great episode!
