Products you'll need for this project:
• Any 1:1 epoxy resin of your choice (I use/recommend Krystal Resin)
• Silicone coaster molds
• White pigment paste (I recommend LeRez Expressions - Angel White)
• Foil for center
• Fine tip paint brush
• Reuseable measuring cups
• Small reuseable cups for mixing
• Popsicle or reuseable silicone sticks for mixing
• Heat gun / Torch
• Protective plastic or silicone mat
• Level
• Personal protective equipment including
chemical filtering mask, gloves and well ventilated area

I used a 1:1 resin - Krystal Resin from Canada was the brand. I currently you Counter. Culture DIY which is similar and would create similar effects

How do you clean that brush? All the brushes I've used I tried cleaning with acetone nailpolish remover but they still completely hardened. I don't want to throw away a brush every time I use it :(
99% isopropyl alcohol cleans resin pretty well

can I ask a quick question? I have some pigment paste, do I thin it with the resin or alcohol? and can I mix mica powder with the resin paste? thank you very much
Hi😊 I mix my pigment paste with resin... basically coloring the resin with pigment paste (so don't go too heavy with the paste in the resin or the resin may not cure properly). I haven't tried mixing with alcohol inks. In terms of mica, you can, but I find the pastes tend to swallow up the mica and it doesn't show too much.. but yours may be different than mine... so definitely experiment 😊

How many times can a mould be used? Do they get worn off after using several times or something?

Lydia thanks so much for sharing. Just beautiful! Does the resin yellow being clear? I’ve heard you can add blue pigment to prevent this. Do you know if that is true?
Hi Dolly, all resin yellows over time... some are quicker than others and environment is a factor too. But yes, adding a touch of blue or purple is supposed to help the yellowing to be less noticeable.
You want to add something transparent like a resin dye or alcohol ink... not mica or Pigment paste

Beautiful!!! Can you make clear for me, please.We have to wait 30 -45 minutes before to put white petals or flowers.And we don't have to wait 30-45 minutes for resin in the mold?
I'm not sure of your question... but 30-45 mins was the working time of the resin I was using... so you need to be finished adding the flower design well before that (i can't remember exactly, but I believe I waited 20-25 mins in this video)... but all of this timing depends on the working time of the resin you are using... and the conditions that you are working in

I have tried to get this effect numerous times but never had any success until I watched your video and tried your technique. It's a real game changer for me! My coasters turned out fabulous and I am so pleased with them! I wish I could attach a photo but I don't have that option but trust me, they are great! Not as good as yours but since it is just my first try I have high expectations that they will just get better. Thank you for sharing your video and technique!

I don't know the exact time... maybe 7 mins or so... but everyone's resin and environment will be different, so the timing may need to be adjusted
