Honorable mention, Rill twilight of Valhalla. No one inside his zone can die no matter how much damage they take. Also gives his allies a magical buff. Kept the captains alive just to get more traumatized from lucifero laying the smack down on them. To be exact. Yuno doesn’t stop time. In a accurate description he pauses the time within the mana zone on each individual making it anti-aging. Meaning they exist in the present. No future just the present.

Nacht’s mana zone and megumi’s domain expansion isn’t really the same cuz megumi’s DE you mostly worry about sinking into the shadow and you can clearly see megumi and fight him cuz you still have your senses but nacht’s MZ is literally abyss cuz all your senses are removed as you can’t see, hear or sense and get pummeled in every direction.
EDIT: its kinda similar to kaname tosen’s bankai from bleach in the sense of all your senses have been removed.
Definitely more similar to Tosen’s Bankai and Zaraki is basically Yami
The more we learn about mana zones the less Licht being able to even touch the Wizard King makes any sense.
That was part of the wizard king’s plan.

Langris's Mana Zone is the absoulte defense it shld have been higher imo, also Nacht has a Mana zone he used on the twins that didnt work but its pretty broken. Basically a sealing jutsu
I’m pretty sure Yami doesn’t put his black moon to his sword but his mana zone she states he needs to condense the zone to his arm causing him to learn death thrust, 20:38 to 20:50 you can see in the pic just at the corner it’s the black moon or black hole at the top so instead of using the black moon or hole he’s using the mana zone 21:13 here yami does the same just not on his arm but just making it smaller easier to tell when someone for example Dante enters making the IA move much better

Asta mana zone idea.
Anti Mana zone: the black divide. Using his anti magic, he creates a bubble which shuts blocks out light that also shuts of all mana in that area while coating any targets of his choosing inside that area in anti magic. so if they leave they still are under the effects of his anti magic and cannot use magic. Inside the bubble asta can locate any one inside by tracking their ki, to make up for his lack of vision in the black anti magic bubble and just go ham on them while they are weakened just from the large amount of anti magic in the area and them being coated makes them unable to perform magic. Could be a nice end game asta ability i feel. Give opinions on this idea please would be interesting to see how other people could improve or change this idea
Astas Power has to Relative to what he’s negating so this wouldn’t be that strong
@zerefthetactician5649 he wasn't relative to vetto and he managed to negate his stuff once his sword came into contact so I'm not so sure about the reasoning here.

Technically his 3rd sword can already erase magic in an entire area/ Zone.
But I wish it gets expanded upon, and have an area where All magic are erased and they just throw hands 😂

What destroyer sword does is not erase magic , but break the relationship between cause & effect. So magical effects are nullified. Magic isn't erased more like magical effects

Do spells come from the grimoire itself or from the mage themselves and the grimoire acts as a conduit to efficiently utilize mana so as not to deplete their mana reserve
Because I thought a mage could do perform magic naturally, but the utilization of a grimoire just makes casting a spell easier by tapping into the internal mana everyone has (except for Asta ofc😅).
I remember in the very early episodes of the series, Yuno and the other kids from Hage Village were using magic before the grimoire ceremony. I remember Yuno flying just by using his Wind magic without the aid of a grimoire.

Grimor give acces to a boosters and pretty large Booster cause it very rare for someone to cast a big spell without it
Spells come from their grimoire and a spell is just instructions of what you want your magic to do, mana method runes allow you to add instructions to your magic, magic is what the characters in black clover make, mana is what fuels magic and magic can be done with out a grimoire
Magic can still be done just it’s not as complex without a grimoire

Spells are defined as magical power that has been refined or (shaped) Hence why you can perform basic spells without a grimoire. Any expression of your attribute whether it be with or without a grimoire is considered a spell ( So like Noelle creating a small ball of water is still a spell)
