Nobody Loves Paragon - Starsector MVS

Paragon, a floating fortress and a powerhouse of a capital ship. It's not as bad as everyone thinks, and I don't know why nobody really loves it. In fact, Paragon can be a serious threat to even mod ships, such as MVS with over-engineered ships and weapons. Even after this, I'm sure nobody loves Paragon for crushing mod ships.

Paragon even in .97a is one of the best single ships in the game. People at high levels tend not to use it for it generally trivializing things compared to more interesting and fun fleet doctrines, not because it isnt effective

nobody loves the Paragon because it's BOOORING! I don't wanna have to wait for five minutes to get into combat, and a point and click adventure just ain't it for me either. I much prefer the Odyssey to use as my flagship

I use support doctrine Paragons instead of officer Paragons. Not as effective in tanking but its job was controlling the space, not being the one man army.
