That is insane, I've discovered your channel as a fellow green beard to discover more about that one obscure dwarf game. And I looked through your channel like : aww they don't seem to upload anymore. And bam new upload.
I hope core focuses more on the various horror aspects that drg has lightly sprinkled in here and there. Anyways, thank you for sharing your experiences with the people that make one of my favorite games of all time!
I got good news for you haha rogue core (as described by devs openly) is creepier than drg for sure. not a full on horror game, still primarily an fps but with scarier elements :)
The most shocking part of this video for me was how handsome Sniss looks. Was listening while doing dishes, and did an actual double-take when I spotted him.
I visited Ghost Ship Games last year, and it was a great experience. I got to meet one of the game directors and got to hear all of the history of the company.
I visited this place once on a school trip once. In the canteen they had a big screen that would cycle through and display steam reviews of the game. This included giant jerma 985 ASCII art...
That working place is such a contrast to the ones big triple A game companies with thousands of people working in them, it’s really a refreshing sight and best of all is being able to know more personally the people behind the game, it really reminds you that there’s people, humans with their own lives, personalities, relationships and everything working in something they love, once again a huge contrast to the huge gaming corporation we’re(according to what I remember seeing in articles) the workers rarely interact with each other or where the people that gives green light to the games are mostly faceless people who’s job(as it is) is just making more and more mone, none of those business higher up corporate people could ever reach the same level of personal conection between developers and players and have that level of charisma those developers have. I truly hope the best for the Ghost Ship Games crew.
This whole video is very cosy. Glad to have you back Sniss! Driller body pillow and kicked barrel at their door is hilarious 😂 Please I hope they bring the barrel to their new office
This video is so good. Thanks for all the videos you make, and thanks for giving us a glimpse into the GSG studio space. I hope your new office in the electrical cabinet goes well. Rock and Stone.
Appreciate the snapshot of the office space. I understand the need for them to expand, but it's always bittersweet moving on from a unique space w/ so much history.
The music in this video mixed with the commentary, images and video, and overall vibe just fits so perfectly. (Also thanks for the update for DRG and rouge core and everything else it’s greatly appreciated! 👍)
I forgot to finish watching this video but man it feels so, weirdly emotional seeing this and describing the work place and the passion all these people work and how amazing it all seems. It would be so incredible to work in this field in such a healthy and indie game development space, I'd do anything to guarantee myself a space like that after I'm done with my education
1:50 This is some of that attention to detail that I think adds an extra dose of humanity to both the reporting and to the subject itself. I'm glad that you included it.
Sniss, if you ever do read this. I ask that you tell the devs that the Solvo Module OC for the Hurrikane doesn’t have the input buffer yet, it would make the OC SO much more fun to use. -For your consideration a random nerd’s request
Would love to meet these guys one day. 1200 hours and counting on DRG. Game is def the best coop shooter out there and extremely excited to finally see rougue core in action. Game also has on of the best development teams and communities out there. ROCK AND STONE!
Just saw the drg stream and a game about coffee that I would recommend would be coffee talk where u can create drinks for customers, it has a variety of hot beverages ranging from coffee to green tea, its a visual novel and character driven if you are not into that sort of thing but there is also latte art drawing in the game as well would recommend it plus it has a sequel as well.
One big thing about Rogue Core that I feel will influence my enjoyment of it is the fact it's the same universe as DRG. Even if the gameplay is entirely different and the only similarities is the environments and movement mechanics, I very strongly feel I'll enjoy it merely because it's set in the same universe with the same sort of vibe
I love the moment when our favorite dwarf lover went to Ghost Ship headquarters, said "it's dwarfing time" and dwarfed all over the place. Truly a moment to live by ❤
It’s so strange to see Sniss become a sort of reporter. I’m glad that rogue core is reaching away from DRG, as there are many more ways that the devs can explore this universe. I’m glad you had fun speaking to them!
congrats on becoming an official GSG and DRG shill!
your credibility and opinions are now worthless to me, bye.
Bye! you won't be missed
Congrats on getting pinned

ikr
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
God I love Europe humor. We just spend all day bullying each others
*Sweden will remember that.*
Please I don’t want to be locked out of the game…
1:35 Guess zipline speed nerf, Loot boxes and Sweden region ban is a small price to pay for a cockfighting minigame
EVERY game needs a cockfighting minigame
okay but glyphid cockfighting sounds really fun
as a gunner main this is fucking devastating
Can't believe we're getting crossplay, a fifth class, a water biome, and a Sweden ban in season 5
Hopefully they add a Tahiti biome
A water biome would actually go crazy, I’m sad that it’s not feasible
I am SO hyped about the ban you have no idea.
Dwarf Dwarf Revolution is going to be crazy in the future seasons
Visits Ghost Ship Games.
No Ghosts to be seen.
And not even some ghost ships!
They better get them in the new office
Were there any ships?
Isn't that what the joke at 5:02 is?
They are there, just invisible
Sniss owning the Outer Wilds album just made them infinitely MORE based, which I didn't know was even possible.
best game of all time

Shoutouts to Copenhagen. Awesome place to visit / live.
its so nice
I live in Copenhagen, and I am seriously thinking about going there and giving them a cake for their work, definitely deserved in my opinion \o/

I live at the arctic circle in northern Sweden and I'M tempted to go there with some boxes of fika as thanks for making a banger of a game

honestly I'm not sure what else I expected from the GSG studio. In a courtyard, next to an old-fashioned bar, with a barrel at the entrance. amazing.
