Always love listening to these podcasts. My favourite has to be the ones with Leah, Rui, Kent, Megan, Louise, Dave and Sheri as there were more so much detailed insights that they were able to record and share in a way that made a lot of sense. Btw I actually prefer the long podcasts as its great to listen to when your outside trying to relax those eyes whilst gaining a detailed and motivation insight to other peoples journey in natural vision improvement. Many thanks to you Jake and the End Myopia community! :)
This is so helpful, thank you. As someone with -9.50 contacts I’m glad she brought up her preference for contacts over glasses. With this severe myopia glasses are extremely uncomfortable. Also at this high diopter glasses are pricey when you add up the astigmatism, high index lens treatment, etc…so it makes more sense to me to go with reduced diopter contacts. This is the first time I’ve heard anyone do this in endmyopia. Gives me a glimmer of hope when for a long time I’ve been frustrated trying to figure out how to work this active focusing with expensive thick glasses. Inspiring!
Thanks Jake I appreciate these videos. Outside is a bit cold here in the UK. But I am trying to get out even if its the small back yard.just to avoid screens and find things to do
You are about to be a very wealthy man once people start to catch on. Nice work. I’ve reduced from -3.7 to 2.5 in just a few weeks. Amazing. Basically cut close up vision cold turkey since I want 20/20 so bad.
Ansab Mumtaz reduce your prescription. Stop looking at things close up. Look into the distance as often as possible. Use active focus as often as possible. Continue to reduce your prescription until you get to 20/20.
I can sooo relate with her @ 39:50. In my early teens I so wanted to wear glasses because I liked the various styles of glasses frames and how they fit on people’s faces. So I took my dad’s glasses and wore them. And that’s what I believe messed up my vision.
Incredible! Way to go Clare. This is inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us. This also made me laugh out loud-figuring out the reduction in diopters haha
I think it is good that you have us question the system that put us in glasses in the first place - I'm only bummed that my parents didn't know about this 40 years ago when I had to get my first pair of specs! Ugh, I hated having to wear them, esp. playing sports. But they thought they were helping me. Still, onward and upward! Thanks Jake.
Braces screw up your facial structure, and the forces they apply to your teeth are damaging to the roots of your teeth. Look up orthotropics and Dr. John Mew and son, Dr. Mike Mew.
Mine got really good with active focus. I changed my glasses and they told me I had a .5 drop and asked if I wanted it reflected in the prescription. Really?!. Every pair of glasses prescribed for me have hurt my eyes.
hello, i'm french and i don't speak very good english so i can't really understand your videos. But could you answer this question please it would help me a lot: As soon as we look at our phone closely we have to take off our glasses to improve our eyesight? Knowing that I have a miopia of - 3.25, and also when I am outside without any electronic device, shouldn't I wear glasses if I want to improve my vision?
Imagine how much the optometrists would learn if when faced with someone who insists they can heal their vision…they asked as many questions as you did! …instead of them telling the person “it isn’t possible”. Part of the problem with the certificate model of education is the ability of practitioners to put on the blinders, become completely rigid in their belief that the certificate indicates they have a deeper knowledge of something than someone with no certificate…incredibly intelligent people somehow lose all spirit of inquiry 🧐
Hi I've - 0.75,-0.5 Rigt and left eye, I followed active focus. After one and half month I got improved in my right eye. But problem now is that, it's been more worse than previous. Its back to the previous blurriness,. Please suggest me, is that I had done mistakes.!

Hey,just discovered this channel from a comment on a stand up comedy video about glasses which shared one of your video’s link. I was actually surprised by the fact that myopia can be reversed. If Jake wouldn't be as funny and sarcastic in the way he talks about EM, I wouldn't have trusted in the first place. Only Jake could create this movement because he ain't an egoistic, arrogant guy with a white coat blatantly making you feel guilty for being myopic (which 3 billion people in the world are currently). Wow she was closer to -8.50 or even -8.75 in glasses when she started. The contact lens equivalent is lower and the gap grows as diopters go up.
She was tough to listen to but glad I did. 😅
Thank you!!! Finally a new motivational video for us!
They need to come up with special glasses or contacts that get weaker as your eyes get better. It can work like braces
Braces screw up your facial structure, and the forces they apply to your teeth are damaging to the roots of your teeth. Look up orthotropics and Dr. John Mew and son, Dr. Mike Mew.
But it’s not just about lens reductions. Another major component is your vision habits.
Mine got really good with active focus. I changed my glasses and they told me I had a .5 drop and asked if I wanted it reflected in the prescription. Really?!. Every pair of glasses prescribed for me have hurt my eyes.
