The seemingly flabby paunch they showed in that zoom-in is actually just what it looks like when a guy with good abs wears spandex that isn't exactly skintight. There was a movie called "Return to the Batcave" where they dramatized the behind-the-scenes stuff, and they show a guy with a body like an underwear model putting on the tights. Once he has them on, he looks like he has the same gut, because fabric like that just doesn't capture the definition of muscular abs.

As someone who was a kid when this movie came out, all those riddles were popular in every elementary school in America long before Robin "solved" them. So, he'd heard them before.
Thats what i love most about this movie, all the ridiculous answers to the riddles and acting like its all normal common knowledge Its like when they were trying to figure out who was behind the exploding shark and Robin was like "it did happen at sea...C....C for c Cat woman!" And everyone is like "of course!" Then batman says "and that shark was..pulling my leg..." And the cheif of police says "the joker!" And theyre like "of course!" The whole movie 13/10 ridiculous and i love it
My favorite moment from the show was when Bruce and Dick were away and Commissioner Gordon and Chief O'Hara are faced with the realization they'll have to solve a case by themselves. Also, I'll have to admit that in my youth watching Batgirl in purple high heels and shiny spandex kicking men in the face gave me strange feelings.

Fun fact. Cesar Romero was a big deal romantic lead and his mustache was part of his branding. They tried to get him to shave it for the series, but he refused point blank. So we got a white mustache...and that was part of the joke.
@@thisguyrighthere3647 they couldn't have went with anyone else. That's why they had to settle with his moustache, he portrayed a really good Joker at that time. There probably was no one else who could play the character like Romero did.

Yet we couldn't stop watching this on endless repeat. "Hand me down the shark repellent Bat-Spray!" Man, always been one of my favorite movie lines!

HAIL CESAR INDEED! I love the story about how Joker's maniacal laughter came from Cesar Romero's own real laughter overheard from his dressing room -- they loved the sound of it so much they asked him to incorporate it into his take of Joker. Interesting to know we wouldn't have all of the other great maniacal laughing Jokers without Romero.

"What weighs six ounces, sits in a tree, and is very dangerous?"
"A sparrow with a machine gun."
Wtf Robin? I mean, you're not technically wrong, but how many times were you dropped on your head as a child?
Well before he was Robin he was an acrobat 😂
Of course it's a sparrow with a machine gun! What else would it be?
He was right, though.
As someone who was a kid when this movie came out, all those riddles were popular in every elementary school in America long before Robin "solved" them. So, he'd heard them before.
Thats what i love most about this movie, all the ridiculous answers to the riddles and acting like its all normal common knowledge
Its like when they were trying to figure out who was behind the exploding shark and Robin was like "it did happen at sea...C....C for c
Cat woman!" And everyone is like "of course!" Then batman says "and that shark was..pulling my leg..." And the cheif of police says "the joker!" And theyre like "of course!"

I used to watch this back in the day with my grandpa, while my parents were at work. I was about 7, he was like 70, and I remember we both enjoyed it and laughed together at the same stuff. You don't get a lot of that kind of TV these days.
You haven't heard of Breaking Bad?
That was the benefit of television with only three broadcast networks and a few independent local TV stations.
K Yan Breaking Bad is rated TV-MA, which is for adults only.

Okay, that failing to cover up a moustache-joke was the very pinnacle of all Honest Trailers. Just too brilliant.
"the Joker - the first DC star who tried and fail to cover up a mustache" - LOL
At least facepaint was cheaper.
Fun fact. Cesar Romero was a big deal romantic lead and his mustache was part of his branding. They tried to get him to shave it for the series, but he refused point blank. So we got a white mustache...and that was part of the joke.
@@DodiTov They should've went with someone else then. Appreciate his conviction, though.
@@thisguyrighthere3647 they couldn't have went with anyone else. That's why they had to settle with his moustache, he portrayed a really good Joker at that time. There probably was no one else who could play the character like Romero did.
This was the absolute perfect movie to grow up watching. Wholesome enough to not need censoring or parents answering awkward questions, yet hokey enough that even in the 90's we knew it was dorky. Yet we couldn't stop watching this on endless repeat.
