- V6 Vengeance was a project I built while working at Street Commodores Magazine way back in 2002/2003. Eventually we ran 11.9 at 114.76mph with a mostly stock V6. Don't forget to subscribe to Scotty's Garage for more awesome videos.

hahahaha i followed this for so long when i had my VS ecotec, im glad i did because i remember the goals and budget you set were not possible and i remember the budget doubling hahahaha. in saying that im not talking bad about the project it just saved me a lot of time and i went to JDM 6s (RB25det, turns out isnt much better than a v6 lol) so im over that now and gonna build a 7.3L godzila in an AU hahahaha, you got me into cars bigtime, i put nos on my VS ecotec with 4.11 gearing and run a 13.02 with a mini spool on street tyres banging the limiter for the last 50m hahaha, only really been two cars that i have ever followed in the drag scene and that was you and Paul who owned TWO.06L (twoogle)
i loved that series, it was pre-internet for me when I was driving my own old 6 banger
What Street commodore magazine issue did the v6 vengeance project start at? Any Ideas?
Carn the Super Mang!! Mark 2 Vengeance.
Need wheel alignment
feeling nolstalgic?
Nah, youtube has downgraded a lot of the old videos to 24-P so they look shit now. I re-uploaded a bunch of stuff at 720P
Mostly stock? It revs way higher than stock. Love it though
Stock rods, crank, valves, block, rockers, sump, etc. It had ACL pistons, Crow cam and springs.
But you're right it revved pretty cleanly
What was limiter at?
what is your gearbox setup?
It was a built T700
