after all the turmoil I experienced trying to get past Sudowoodo, the music here was almost saying, "it's okay, you made it to the next town, now relax a bit"
This almost felt like a secret bonus part of the game, given how hard the steps to get rid of Sudowoodo were as an 8-year-old. And then Morty was a huge pain too.
Growing up I had one of those poorly translated versions that came from China. Not only was everything written in completely broken English, but English isn't even my first language. Just imagine how much time I spent figuring out how to pass that goddamn Sudowoodo, it was ludicrous. The memories.
I really think these soundtracks pull at the heart strings so much because they did just the same when we were children. They did such an incredible job at putting so much depth and emotion into such simple music.
god, stereo music makes me feel almost like if I was there, as a smaller, more innocent me, playing pokemon gold for the first time, walking around the town and exploring, it just almost like if I was there once again..
Allways remember me on the sick milktanks on the farm!🤔 "you give milktank a berry, it Seems it feels a litte bit healthier..."😌😊😇🐄🐂🐄🐂🐄🐂🐮🐮🐮👍🏽 ...-and as a thankyou-gift you become this milk here!🥛 😉
It’s so sad to think that you had this game and other Pokémon games and one day you played it for the last time before selling it on, losing it or the internal battery dying. You turned your game boy off without knowing you were saying farewell to your team and that particular class of Pokémon. The quicker they invent a Time Machine the better.
This takes me back. 3rd year of simmer camp about 2 years ago. I brought my gameboy color, a coppy of gold, and headphones. I didn't realize that when you beat Whitney you had to talk to her again so I had my councilor actually look it up for me (wich was kinda sus given that I wasn't supposed to have it) and when I finally got here I sat on the porch of our bunk and just listened. That was my second playthrough. During my first I remember I would always bring my gameboy to school before I had a phone about 6 years ago. Good times 😌
how old are you? if you dont mind me asking. Just so rare to hear some one still playing these on old gameboy colors! I haven't played original GSC since I was in third grade back in 2001!
Because around 5/6 of the Google emulator has virus (i can confirm) and another 2/3 of that 1/6 has the post-ecruteak blackscreen. Thats why never i finished Soulsilver in my DS, because some bastards scammed me with the post ecruteak blackscreen :((( rip all my forever lost boom's (cyndaquil)
Menu, pause, save... Continue in bliss, yet be careful... Your teams are probably lacking care in the end. This world lacks the suffocation of breathing a new era once in a while... Where will we go without our comrades? And who stalls us when we try? Why, life. :|

Haha. But it was short lived once you faced Morty.
@@CrimsonKobaNakirigumilol i had that version as well. Good memory
As a kid this one made me cry for some odd reason but as a adult i find it soothing to hear reminds me of my preteen years playing gold & Crystal
To me is the opposite, the nostalgia this song conjures is one of the few things that makes me cry with any consistency outside of peper spray
It's a heartfelt tune
May be 8 bit but this artist let their emotions out on this one.
@@bugshavefeelerstoo I feel the same way about route 42/lake of rage. Just great.
@@ivyssauro123 This song fills me with a pleasure and sadness that makes me want to be a comfy child again. It’s incredible.
could you describe why this song made you cry as a child?
This song has SO MUCH SOUL!!!
Some of the best Gameboy music came from pokemon
This definitely was made with heart.
And its gold. A heartgold literally.

The music in pokemon was more important than the designs of the pokemon themselves, never forget that
I almost cry when i heard again this theme song, while remembering my childhood sweet memories, feels so nostalgic
This town theme is so memorable for me, where my Bayleef became a Meganium all those years ago. Seriously I wish I could go back at times.
Friendly reminder to honor your nostalgia by being true to what inspires you.
truer words have never
been spoken
Replaying OG Crystal on my phone via emulation. One of my better decisions :)
_I LOVE YOU GEN 2 FOREVERRRRR!!!!!_
This is just such a good time in pokemon.
We have the same sense of happiness here, the joy of explore new map, new place, catching new pokemon

I'm not crying, you are!
Hands down, my favorite theme of the entire series. So relaxing and calm.
Gen 2 games are so...so...so...PERFECT!!!
This song playing before I lose power and not having money to buy batteries is my childhood depression.
pure bliss
This evokes a sunny morning.

I’m not the biggest fan of gen 2, but I adore this music
It’s so calming and it cheers me up so well
Merry Xmas everyone. 🥲
Ahh. Earthquake city.
Best tune of Pokemon ever. Ecruteak is a representation of real Japan also
Been a long time sine I listened to the original. Now I can't without expecting Memories from Turnabout Storm.
Thank you
MiX it with Hootie and the Blowfish and Post Malone and getting "Only wanna be with You".
I was redrawing the layout of this city after putting this video in Full Screen mode!
listen to the lucky channel track to pull you outta the feels if you gotta.
i do not understand why pokemmo do not have johto. johto atmosphere is king.
