BEST HOLIDAY spot in South Africa! Amazing wildlife & beautiful waters | Cape Vidal

Cape Vidal has always been a slice of paradise in South Africa. Having moved down to Cape Town, it's one of the places I miss the most. When my Misses and I had the chance to take leave we organized a car and a ski, booked our tickets and we were on our way.
We arrived in Durban on the 8th of September and drove up to Cape Vidal for a 10 day Holiday. I've been to Cape Vidal countless times but never have I been in September and never have I seen such amazing wildlife there before. Every game drive was filled with excitement, Elephants, Hyenas, Leopards (on two occasion but Murphy didn't let us film them), Rhinos, Hippos, you name it, we saw it.
The weather was wild most days, as Vidal is known for, so there wasn't much offshore fishing but we did manage to find some inshore excitement. I ended up pulling out the little 4wt fly rod and flick stick to target some Shad that I saw on our dive sessions in the bay. After landing countless Shad, I finally landed two that were size and the catch cook was on!
Cape Vidal once again didn't fail to produce the goods with another amazing holiday in the bag, definitely one of our best trips to date, check it out!
