She signed on way back when it was first announced that there was going to be a reboot. They're keeping her return on the DL for now, but I imagine she'll show up later this season or season 2. She announced on her Instagram way back that the show was returning and how excited she was to be back. I believe Helena is going to return down the road as well. She talked about wanting to on Twitter and she's since shared many of the trailers for the new season on her page. :)

Honestly as a fan, I never asked for new stories. They just told us that we wanted them and then brought out a new cast. Truth is I would trade the "Q generation" for Tina, Marina, and Helena.
I wasn't interested in these new characters, but I'll give them a chance. I can only say I think they might be trying to bring the show with Bette, Alice and Shane but then eventually they will leave so we can stick with the new ones. I might be crazy to think that, but they tried to do that with The X-Files (brought two new agents to in the future take the main characters places) but ended up giving up that idea because the show just got cancelled.

my guess is we as the audience collectively killed jenny schecter. ‘cause she was the imperfect complex protagonist and she was getting so much hate. idk if anyone watched the show for her. most people watched it more for other characters. so i feel like mb the creators thought it’d be so clever to kill off the protagonist while almost all of the main characters have their reason to have done it but also no one is taking the blame for it. that’s just my theory.

@@Glennmaxted omg i just said that in a similar comment on another video... like jenny stealing alice's idea was just a cover up for the story she was really doing which was of all the situations going on her life and those around her , but the studio wanted her to kill of her character in the movie she was writing. making it hard to distinguish what we saw in season 6 to be reality or just jenny's ideas.
hmmm...resolved...not quite...a passing comment for such a present character as Jenny was disappointing. Jennifer is great at keeping things close to the vest and pointing us in a different direction. I guess that's why she sells being gay so well.

Even Ilene said they were all disappointed by 6th season (the actors + herself) cause the l word wasn't supposed to be about Death. So she said they all (including herself) prefer to pretend it ended at 5th season and that 6th season never happened.
SO That + what Mia said well it gave us Hopeee that they'd make up some plot to bring her back. Like say that 6th season was Jenny's new Script/Book or something....
