- Last day in Singapore and I'm super excited to be able to fly back to Japan again. And for my first major meal in Japan is trying out the best wagyu beef buffet at a butcher shop.

Only Mikey can be on his way to a BBQ spot and get distracted by a burger spot. I love it!. You know the food is good at a buffet when they have to give you a time limit.
All buffets technically have a time limit, except for any that are open 24 hours of course
It was an implementation a decade plus ago when people start to become karens.
Well its not so much they afraid of people eating too much, more people not leaving when they are done eating. Since a buffet replies in number of customers to make money rather than what they order if some people decide to just chill there for 4hr that like 3 round of business possibly lost (if its packed)
Along with the sheer amount of food he eats I'm always impressed by the variety of episodes (my favorite ones will always be the instant ramen ones but the ones where Mike gets a personal barbeque are a close 2nd)

Yesss, spice with beef! Whenever my family makes prime rib, we make a fresh horseradish sauce. I bet fresh wasabi is heavenly!
Its just horseradish with less heat its nothing special
I can tell you, fresh Wasabi will have you praying to your higher God. It lands in your nose, and NOTHING stops it. Try a Bloody Mary with it instead of horseradish
I don't know if this has ever been mentioned but I think everytime you say Wagyu, we should all take a drink.
The cheesy wagyu slice was brisket, a cut that you don’t normally find in Japan.

I've been loving your videos for a couple years now, but hot pot and korean bbq have never been something available in my area. One of my favorite hot wing places shut down last year but they are now converting it into a Hot Pot and Korean BBQ restaurant and can't be more exited and nervous at the same time. I feel like I've watched enough of your videos to be prepared but my motto when cooking has always been "you always screw up the first time". Wish me luck when they finally open!

bbq place looks good but i woul defintly not go for the thin pieces they overcook so fast but the counter is truly magical

There's a wagyu buffet where I live and my partner and I always go to it it's so good. U sit at ur table and there a lil tablet that you use to order the food. We usually just keep getting wagyu, wagyu, wagyu🤣
I could tell that you were bummed out by having to leave Singapore, and I would be too leaving all that amazing food behind, But I all but groaned in anguish upon seeing you going to Japan for reasons I've gone on about before. I hope that Miss Christine's studies went well and that you have a great time, as usual, in Japan!

In England they use horseradish sauce, or HP with steak . It gives depth and cuts some the rich fattyness of the beef and it has twang or Tanginess
