Absolutely. They were trying to get rid of it. My friends and I were good friends with him and the John Smith. Or as good a friends as you can be with actors kindly tolerating a 12 and 16 year old super fan, lol
Memories this show inspired me to work at Disneyland that would last more than 17 yrs. I miss Disneyland and it's many magical memories I has working there and as a child seeing this show & its entertainment.
Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz made The Hunchback of Notre Dame into a stage musical and Stephen Schwartz made The Prince of Egypt into a stage musical and Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz should also make Pocahontas into a stage musical!

The Spirit of Pocahontas at Disneyland should have ended a year early in 1996 and they should have had The Hunchback of Notre Dame: A Musical Adventure in its place and then Animazement followed by Mickey's Detective School and Snow White: An Enchanting Musical!
Since this was the final performance, you should have added the cast list over the cast and crew photo at the end like Screggy Bojanklin did for the final performance of the Disney-MGM Studios version!
While that's a nice thought, I respect the fact that many of the actors don't want their names revealed because, as Disney actors, that information is not released to the public.
Ohh.. i actually saw a comment of yours which gave me that idea. My apologies.. i am talking about 2018 masquerade .. there was a cosplay by the name ALICE (in the video on youtube) which I couldn’t figure out
I remember seeing this at Hollywood studios but I don’t remember the show. I just remember they handed each kid a paper thin leaf. Also I can’t decide if grandmother willow is cool or creepy. Like it’s cool how they figured out how to get her to work but she’s creepy looking
They had one at Hollywood Studios and this version at Disneyland. I am biased since I knew some of the cast, but the Disneyland version is superior by far.
The Disneyland version is just objectively better. Bigger stage, better story flow, better choreography, gorgeous lighting and special effects, and an impressive Grandmother Willow.

I was fortunate to sub in and be a friend of John Smith in this show. Just a handful of performances, but it sure was fun.
Were you also Phebous and/or Clopin in the Festival of Fools show?
@@ladydemando I was not. I was hired in as a performer in the Christmas Fantasy Parade and was pulled in to very quickly rehearse and do that part.

I saw this when I was at Disneyland with My Parents back on August 19th 1997 just about a month before the show closes.
