From childhood I've always called my father's sisters amme and his brothers aamu, because only my dad side of the family is Iranian and urdu speakers use to inquire like " what?? What did you said, what does it mean, to whom you said that???" And it was really funny, but I personally think taht our language (persian) is kind, prestigious and very loving.
